  • The BEST session I have had at Long Reef by far!
    I did the 40km trip from Botany to Long Reef. It's a fairly quick and exciting drive in good conditions. Highly recommend. ELKAT Striker Gang hooks never fail.

      @@spikesfishing i used to get em off Forster in 40 mtrs mid 90’s.
      We used homemade stainless or copper jigs.
      5kg Samson would pull like a 10kg king, but heaps better on the plate.
      Keep going mate, get amongst em. 💪

    This, is probably the only channel with long videos, that I watch all the way through. Good on ya mate! Love your content as usual. You're the Queen of the pilly. Last week I've been fishing from the beach, and I tho I can try the "Spikes Half Pilly". Didn't go too good, but just when I was getting my rod off the beach to leave, I caught one of my best flatty. That was yours lol even tho, I was the one eaten it 😂

    Mel can you tell us the difference with a trag fish and a jewie they look the same

      the tail is pointing in, a jewfish points out

      The Tail and also a Jewie’s beautiful lateral line is unmistakable.

      Yellow mouth and different tail. The Jew are a beautiful silver shine too and trag are duller
