Dempster Highway travel tips-Evelyn at Eagle Plains

I interviewed Evelyn at Eagle Plains station - which is a few miles south of the Arctic Circle in Canada. She shared some tips on how to enjoy this beautiful part of the world and travel the Dempster highway safely.

I was up there in 1976-77with the Canadian Military Engineers putting the Eagle River Bridge. It was a winter build, we were a year late getting in, because of problems with the road, we had the bridge superstructure up by Christmas 76 and everything done by Easter 77. It was a real challenging job.
