I'm Brazilian and all my descendents came from Hunsrück, We still speak hunsricker dialect here. I'm anxious to see this film.

Several sites say it's going to come out this year. If you go to google earth and look at Gehlweiler, there are pictures of the set fronts.
I saw a report on Brazilian television where there were linguists going back to the areas settled by Europeans so they could document the dialects as many of the words and expressions no long existed in the homeland.

I guess it deserves a Portuguese subtitle and maybe a premiere in Brazil. I'm also a brazilian descendent but I only speak few words in hoch deutsch and hunsruckish. Congratulations. I'm sure it is a beautiful work and I will watch it for sure.
