Somehow I missed this when it released and just today saw it. Your style's evolved in what I'd say is an impressive way. It feels like you expanded beyond the instrumentation that was in D-side and even improved on what was in the E-side preview. Very fun.
You really do have one hell of an ear for medleys. Your transitions are always top notch and your sense of pacing is spot on. Can't wait to hear what comes next~
I forget you exist for a long time then I find out you did this 3 months ago. The fact you finally included BFDI in one of your videos would make my 15-year old self so freaking thrilled.
That was awesome! That is exactly I want and we want to see and hear and we been waiting for that video so freaking long who know what ever how many year's you been work on.
Oh wow, you managed to get a video using Pop Team Epic and Steamed Hams into this. Also I like how "Bonetrussle" is in papyrus and ""Megalovania" in comic sans (even though the song was in the Earthbound Halloween Hack and Homestuck long before undertale...).
Since you were adding all of the sources that made the YTPMVs that good over the years, I was hoping for at least Konata saying "Timotei!" at the end, since that is a pretty popular sample. I still think this is a good melody, and the fact a Steamed Hams YTPMV made it as one of the featured videos surprised me, since most of the ones I've seen are either Japanese memes, JonTron, or MLP. And the fact you added Undertale songs made it more perfect.
I almost added that remixed version in C-Side as a credits song, but I felt it was a bit too complex for my skill level back then. :/ Chances are that it'll make an appearance sooner or later, possibly in F-Side. :)
No .FLP File provided? I loved looking at those to gain an understanding on how you built up and structured your song. I would honestly love to see how you did some of the transitions in this, you've improved so much over all this time! I don't know what's up with that like dislike ratio though, how can you dislike this??
I'm still pondering on whether or not to release the FLP, since this time around I used a lot VSTis that aren't built in FL and that aren't freeware, so to some it would sound severely lacking :/ Also, since you seem to have come in a bit late, you missed the brief time frame when this video got a manual copyright strike for one of the videos featured in this compilation. That issue has now been settled and I'd rather not go over which creator it was, though from what I gathered most of those dislikes came after the video got back up, for whatever reason.
Oh sorry to hear that, that sucks.. It may be related to those who claimed it, but I don't see how from their perspective dislikes on a video would be of any benefit.. Anyhow I'd find it really childish if that were the case.. I really do hope the like dislike ratio is gonna balance out a little more, it really deserves more positive feedback, this screams quality in mixing, and sound overall. As for the .FLP, not having the plugins would not be that big of a deal, because it may both be a good way to learn about some new VSTs and at the same time, the note data and song structure itself is what I'm really interested in, as everything is so well balanced and mixed. I'm also as mentioned really interested in learning about the transitions, which would rely on note data and automation clips anyway. Aside of that, I think the note data is the most important if anyone would be downloading/remixing your song given you'd probably not just copy paste the same sounds (I could be wrong, dunno). Anyway, I can understand if you don't want to release it, it's totally up to you, you've spent a lot of effort on this and you should be able to decide what to do with this in the end. I just feel kinda bad for the dislikes, hopefully that won't mess up the TH-cam algorithm too much... I digress, this is art, and your effort really does pay off. (Sorry for the longer message)
In my sneak peek preview, I had Pushing Onwards and Dans la rue, but those were eventually taken out to make way for songs that I felt to be a bit more relevant. There were also some songs that were included in my WIP playlist but that were taken out, since I thought that the medley would've been too long otherwise, such as Magical Sound Shower, Popcorn, Senbonzakura and 打打打打打打打打打打. For similar reasons, I also had to leave out what I assume to be the opening of No Regrets (巾幗梟雄之義海豪情) and Darkening Dusk, both of which were meant to be included between Bonetrousle and Garten. And during the very end of my arrangement phase, I also tried to add Disco Necropolis, possibly replacing Pettan Fire, but I felt that the BPM would've been too high for that song so I didn't include it.
but no seriously, you've outdone yourself and i fucking love this new installment in the ?-side of ytpmv series, best one by far, even! i thought i was the only one who thought nichijou and bfdi in the same place was a good idea, but looks like some others think so as well! keep up the legendary work, man
speaking of nichijou and bfdi ive been working on some webcomic/webshow combining nichijou and the style of BFDI's latest season, BFB just thought that'd be interesting, and if you want to help with it just add me on discord and ill further explain it rustyMB#0051
You can find it in the playlist linked in the description. It's close to the top, titled simply as "Japanese Pizza" But since I have the chance I might as well dump some more info about it. While the commercial doesn't particularly have any name, it was a part of a series advertising Japanese Pizza Hut's "Minidog" pizzas in March 2010. Though based on the list of performances by Hidehiko Ishizuka, the chubby guy seen at the very end of the commercial, it seems this particular commercial was released on March 15th, 2010
thank you for existing I love you
yes
Cool to hear 13 and 32 in the mix, with credits! Nicely done ; )
Oh, I wasn't aware that you had a TH-cam channel :D
Also, thank you very much. I hope you don't mind that I'm featuring your work here like this ^__^;
That transition from Dance Robot to Oshama Scramble is so good
That's actually something that had been already done in two medleys before this, which were partially my inspiration for such a pairing :P
Every time I listen to one of your YTPMV medleys, my eyes start rapidly involuntarily crying. They're always so beautiful
True
Somehow I missed this when it released and just today saw it.

Holy shit I didn't expect to see 2 of my vids here
Anyways, excellent composition as per usual Finn!
I forget you exist for a long time then I find out you did this 3 months ago. The fact you finally included BFDI in one of your videos would make my 15-year old self so freaking thrilled.
Wow, I didn't think Lamú was going to be in this one. But there it is. Excellent work!
This is by far one of my favorite YTPMV medleys! Love how the songs are arranged! Great job, FinnOtaku!
Btw, are the visuals inspired by the Medley of YTPMV Version 2?
Well, that too, but there's also this medley called otoMAD-synthesis.mid that inspired me to make these kind of visuals
Great video! Really did capture the last two/probably three years. Which were my middle school years. Thanks for making this awesome video!
you're amazing for the giant playlist
例の合作単品から来たけどほんといい曲やな

Holy shit, this really brings a lot of good memories, nicely done!

Surprised there's no leaden skies here (neither the original ver. nor the show time remix)
but this is pretty cool overall
I almost added that remixed version in C-Side as a credits song, but I felt it was a bit too complex for my skill level back then. :/
Chances are that it'll make an appearance sooner or later, possibly in F-Side. :)

i just want the file so i can figure out the weird time changes in the compilation so i can make my own arrangement.
If you're still interested, I finally released the FLP file. I put the link in the description.
BEATIFOUL aah i love this
damn cool nice
Impressed.

This song actually originated from Mother 3.
I know, but the original version of the song is just so different from the Brawl version that I just couldn't label it as such :/
If I were to make ytpmvs I would remake this while thing using only toontown sounds/music.
How vintage of me, eh?
16 is best
내가 고자라니!

Can't wait for a F-Side :D
Personally my favorite side😍
ytpmv famous meme song pack video
Amazing
IT HAS ARRIVED!
For me, this is your best medley yet, I can't stop listening to it! I'm curious though.. what songs were left out?
In my sneak peek preview, I had Pushing Onwards and Dans la rue, but those were eventually taken out to make way for songs that I felt to be a bit more relevant. There were also some songs that were included in my WIP playlist but that were taken out, since I thought that the medley would've been too long otherwise, such as Magical Sound Shower, Popcorn, Senbonzakura and 打打打打打打打打打打. YEY BFDI!
I feel blessed.
That mashup-remix at the end better be a real thing because now I NEED it.
If it exists, somebody give me a link.
NICHIJOU AND BFDI?
I WILL FOREVER HUG WHO CAME UP WITH THE DECISIONS
but no seriously, you've outdone yourself and i fucking love this new installment in the ?-side of ytpmv series, best one by far, even! i thought i was the only one who thought nichijou and bfdi in the same place was a good idea, but looks like some others think so as well! keep up the legendary work, man

Hmm, sounds interesting, but I sadly have some other business to attend for now, so I can't help out in near future ^__^;
thats fine, good luck with that
Was the dance robot dance and Oshama scramble inspired by otomad synthesis btw?
Yes, that and one other medley. It was such a brilliant transition that I couldn't help but use it
@@FinnOtaku lol it is a super smart and funny transition I don’t blame you one bit
Its so beautiful. Heh, Dededon.
