I was searching for videos on Dostoevsky, but for whatever reason, TH-cam recommended this video in my search results. I guess it was good because I ended up procrastinating for 30 minutes to watch it. Greetings from Canada!
Wow, yours is also 32 minutes - respect!! You're so much more efficient with editing, Dasha 🎬 And it looks beautiful, too! P.S. Наташе и Славе - привет 😊
Thank you for journeying through Uzbekistan and showing us so much of its beautiful architecture. I enjoyed the video a lot, and I must say that your commentary skills improve every day. This was like watching a professional travelogue prepared by a television company.
That architecture was simply gorgeous. Think of how many people put so many hours/days/years into building it. Careers were made with those mosaics and paintings. The birds you found are called peacocks, and in the US they're considered somewhat exotic. And there's so much amazing food and candy, yet all of it is so simple. Thanks for bringing us along! 👍
Great thing about having 3 TH-camrs together is that one can film the second who is filming the third. 😀 Great video, Uzbekistan 🇺🇿 looks like a very interesting and affordable place.
Fascinating! I loved this video. It was a bit more detailed and thorough than in some previous efforts, and I really enjoyed the pacing and added sense that we were actually joining in and traveling and experiencing some of the ups and downs with you and your two friends. It's amazing what a few more added minutes of run time can make! Your frank honesty and opinions are still refreshing. You say what you liked and enjoyed and what you didn't. Keep it up, Dari! You will be hosting on a professional travel adventure show yet! Let the people of the world travel this fascinating planet together as friends. 🥰
Hello from U.S. of America. Those mountains are beautiful! I would rather snowmobile there than ski, though 😊 Thanks for bringing us that part of the world.
Wow, a personal driver, driving on a presidential highway, fanning out a million of cash, eating royal food, going to the best ski resort all accompanied by great friends… An amazing trip and excellent video.
What a wonderful video. Very interesting. The colorful birds you saw are called peacocks in English. Also, Samarkand is one of the oldest continuously populated cities in Asia. People have been living there for 5 thousand years.
Thank you, Dari, for sharing the beauty of the country and the interesting architecture and cuisine. It´s so interesting to see how people are living in other parts of the world!
Good life. Enjoy it as much as possible while you are in that exploration way of living. Magnificent architecture, pottery and embroidery of Samarkand/Bukhara - really like the mosaic style art and tiles weaved into it all. Very picturesque mountain scenery around Amirsoy. Food and accommodation both look great and it is good value. Have fun and enjoy your journey - what a great lifestyle. Was good to hear the different perspectives from all of you guys. You make good companion travellers. Really enjoyed it - thanks very much.
That was a very interesting video Dari. You packed so much information and impressions into a short time. It looks like you planned the video very well with good transitions and interesting details and close up shots of food, etc. Good job and safe travels.
Dasha, lovely video. I’m pleased you survived the ski trip and got to the two old cities. One thing: “anyway” is the term you should be using when you say “anyways”. Only eight-year-old kids (usually boys) say “anyways” - though on social media one hears it far too often from people old enough to know better. But then essentially no young English speakers were ever taught grammar (as a consequence, English drifts further into chaos every year), so you can’t rely of most people posting on social media. Anyway, “anyways” has no correct usage.
Great video! One has the feeling I would have been there in person. Fascinating, the cabin lift is from Doppelmayr. The Alps are full of them and I also sat in a Doppelmayr lift in La Paz. But Dasha didn't look very relaxed when the word "summer tires" came up in the middle of a snow desert.
Wow Dari! Your video is just amazing! Chapeau! Uzbekistan is so beautiful and you really managed to show us all the wonders of this land. Thank you very much.
Very good video, Dari. I started watching your content via your previous collaborations with Slava. Fun to see you together again. Nice job putting it all together. Its been fun watching you develop your editing style. Keep it up!
Very nice Dari. I really enjoyed your video. Looks like you three had a really good time. In addition to added security it is always better to experience new places with good friends. Thanks for sharing.
I love this video. I learned a lot of things and I didn't know that there were mountains in Uzbekistan. The scenery is really good and the ski resort looks really modern. I didnt expect that this country has a high-speed train. This is so interesting and I hope you will visit more unique places in the near future. Love and support from the Philippines!❤❤❤
Uzbekistan is truly an adventure that is not for the feint of heartet 😅 Very busy today, but I just want to say that it is an excellent video with good editing, solid story line, dogs, food, travel buddies, culture, Dari's scared-to-death face, and lovely local people. 👏👏👏🤩
A very enjoyable video. The skiing part was very pretty. I am not suppressed to see silk, I think Uzbekistan is on the silk road. enjoyed very much thumbs up...
Your video was so refreshing to watch and the way you film things is just "WOW"! Your guests are great (I wish I was their friends) and content is so creative and the architecture of that country is remarkable - it really keeps my interest. If not for you, I would probably never hear of the various cities of Uzbekistan. Btw, there were more birds (peacocks) there than at my local zoo, lol.
Nice tour of Uzbekistan you took with Natasha, seeing the fabled Central Asian cities of Samarkand and Bukhara! You guys took up where the famed Russian surveyor and photographer Sergei Prokudin-Gorskii left off in 1910 taking back then a celebrated series of pictures of his travels through the Russian empire. Over a century later and its like nothing much has changed. There are places in the world where time seems to stand still and you can see it in present Uzbekistan. You brought that out and the modem ski resort of Amorstoy is quite a contrast with the country’s classic Islamic architecture. Well done! 😊
Fascinating video Dari, with some wonderful snowy scenes from up the mountain. Maybe you might be better at skiing rather than the board if you have a great fear of falling (might be worse of course!). The fear in your eyes when riding in that car which could not stop was spine tingling and I was so happy you survived! The train line looks great and the amazing large and super colourful buildings were lovely to see, and seem to be well maintained. I have never seen such great buildings before looking so great in the different lighting. Of course many of these countries are rarely visited or shown on TV as they are in the middle between west and east and did not usually attract tourists after the silk road ended. You really do take us on an adventure with you (even when eating in restaurants!). Great work, Allan
Nice long and detailed video. I suck at skiing but the mountains with snow did look verrry nice! Didn’t quite understand if or why hotel locked you out at end, but somehow it all ended okay 😅 you might want to report that presidential highway in google maps as blocked, saves the police some work 😂 the idea of such a highway is strange to me though.
Really enjoyed this video it was brilliant somewhere I learned a lot about thank you so much Dari and Natasha I was enthralled by it all love all your videos. Dari, That was a beautiful and interesting video of Uzbekistan. I never knew much of this country. You and your friends are getting to explore so much of the eastern world.
Hey...Thank you for taking me along. Your nails look great. I've never been skiing or snow boarding. I live in SE America and when I grew up there were no ski resorts in this part of the country. The architecture was beautiful....Good luck.
The buildings are really old and authentic as well as stunning. Good to know how easy it is to do this trip by train from Tashkent. The ditches left and right of the road are also common in Xinjiang, where I met Uzbek expats 😉 I look forward to see you in Samarkant and the mountains in summer. The joke about such taxi drivers is that you don't call a taxi, but the taxi calls you. How did you find and book your hotels?
Very nice. Seems very reasonably priced too. Except for the obnoxious cabbies. Never even heard of this country actually. Stay safe! Love all your videos & Natasha too! From Chicago. ✌️

PS: one advice, if I am allowed: better refrain from fanning money like that in public because it could lead to serious security issues in any country you go.
Wow this makes me so jealous of Russian cars. I'm also very interested in these oblong ovens where you stick your food to the side. Fascinating. They have that in Azerbaijan also. The tile is gorgeous everywhere. Uzbekistan seems very interesting.
