I absolutely love that cheese you found. You make an enormous amount of content so another 4 minute level isn't gonna make me cry. In fact, it deepened my Mario Maker knowledge cause I didn't know that was possible so it'll lead levels where that tech is known about. And cheese is the greatest thing a Mario Maker player can find.

Oh yes that last level was supposed to be like metroidvania, where you progressively get new stuff that helps you progress a bit so you can get something else to progress a bit more until you can get everything you need so you can beat the level, in this case the end goal was yoshman to get the pow block, then again you can also use glitches and stuff in Metroid games to get things earlier than you're supposed to, so getting that cheese is part of the experience
Damn, if I was the creator of the last level I would be so sad spending a ton of work creating some huge clever 4 minute long adventure level, getting lucky and having said level feature on a popular TH-camr's channel, just to have it all get ignored and cheesed in under 30 seconds. Oh well, I get the hustle. Only the win matters when the whole point is to get 1000 wins.
@@jordanpetersonsthiccgrandm5892 its possible to go to the end but very hard. Its more about stacking springboard on the pipe to a easy retry (you can then bring some extra springs).
I think on that one level, the red coins are meant to give you the option to skip the bowser. Unfortunately, that is very hard to indicate to the player. The only indication the creator gave is that key-death would make getting the key impossible, therefore it is optional. I would personally make the bowser fight the last thing and make it abundantly obvious that the key door takes you to the end of the level (like a key door above the flag and a track connecting the two doors).
There was a key that got thrown away from the Magikoopa right afterwards, so I think ur right, but yeah that's tough to indicate that a Bowser fight is optional
Clear rate and play your level as a person who doesn’t know it. If you struggle (Not from difficulty), your level can be a « not that good » level. (Finding what to do, where to go, how to do it… that’s level design and that’s hard to make good level when you don’t have experience).
I love Panga, but one of my least favorite things is when he hopes and prays basically for good levels, and then when he gets them he just completely disregards the experience.

Make sure that your level can’t be cheesed. That’s not hard.
It's an easy fix too. All the level creator needs to do is raise the donut bumper one tile higher, and that'd be it.
Sequence breaking Metroidvanias is like a big part of the genre's appeal. They'd probably think it was cool.

At 6:00 panga didnt realize the cheese strat (and why multiple spring drops are in expert rather than SE) that you can just stack the springboards.
