@@RaidenKunii And that's totally valid (although I personally ship both of these, I've seen so many wholesome platonic/family arts and headcanons, so I understand your point :) ). I've just seen a few people in the comments jumping on each other over the way they view these characters, and personally, if I was the artist, it would have probably frustrated me. It's just pixels at the end of the day, I can't understand how they justify harassing real people over them in their heads.
@@gyarukokomisno.1stan If you're talking about the age gap, personally, I don't really think of Zhongtao as a proship (although I am a proshipper and totally get why people don't like them, so I try to avoid those headcanoning them as a family, so I won't make them feel uncomfortable). I mean, almost every ship with Zhongli can be considered as such (except for Zhongven maybe, because they're the closest in terms of age as far as I know), so it feels like watering down the term a bit. But yes, I like them. Mostly because of one fic writer whose works I enjoy very much. But outside of their fanfics, I prefer them more as a platonic ship. Platonic relationships is kinda overlooked in this fandom, so it's very refreshing when I see other people of the same views :) It's just that I feel like when it comes to proships in these types of fandoms, there are way more issues than just the age gap. There were a few times I've seen people hiding their misogyny this way, by purposefully infantilizing adult female characters, making their "childish-like" behaviour their whole personality, and saying this is the only right way of perceiving them, and then harassing others to the point of doxxing, while treating male characters of supposedly the same age and even younger completely opposite, which really frustrates me some times (although I usually don't really care about other people's preferences). Sorry for the comment being so long, and if anything I've said sounded rude or if there's any grammar mistakes, English is not my first language.
