An anniversary or annie loco has all metal running gear as opposed to the regular Bachmann plastic running gear.

The speaker is not used on DCC is for DC Supposed to be a cable There's supposed to be a cable connecting from the tender to the locomotive, It supplies the power to sync the chuffing sound

I think Bachmann is a lot better at larger and small scales like N and G scale
