I NEVER tire of your images, for a few years now. Seascapes, fog, dunes, lightning storms, here&there's. Wasn't sure I wanted to see more of your dune shots, I was so wrong. Every direction of view, every hour of light, I've loved it all in this episode. Thought I loved the subtle morning light and pale pastels, but as the day wore on it was just one surprise after another. Thanks Michael.
I thought, he's in the dunes again, but as with the fog, you keep astounding us mere mortals with fantastic images. Hats off to you sir.

These are some cracking images. The one you described as a mirror image triggered my vertigo, something about that soft out of focus look in the center of the image made me think I would fall out of my chair. Beautiful place and beautiful photos.
Love the soft light sunrise pictures better. The colors pre-sunrise are somewhat magical, hues of pink and magenta are something I didn't know existed before I got into photography. Same with sunset too, every time when on a popular sunset spot, when sun has set and people start to leave and hardly experience the post sunset hues. Breaks my heart !

I took a trip to the Anza-borrego because I'm closer to this region than DV. Went to the Borrego Badlands. Best desert shots I've ever captured! I didn't have a chance to check out the "Pumpkin Patch" but that will be next on my list.

Man, this video just made me happy... I dont know if it was the music that made me feel like I was watching a happy scene from a Disney movie, along with my need for a trip, but I loved it!

I loved the silver/gold images from the morning shoot. The subtle purple in the shadows is beautiful.

In this scenario i love the bottom left image. Its such a minimalistic image with still alot going on and the pastel colours are just beautiful!

Beautiful! I’ve always loved the valley even though I have not been back in years. I’ve still got pictures on my wall that I took 47 years ago.
Great visual aspect the Mesquite Dunes. Perfect for a clear sunrise. Plus the "Lawrence of Arabia" stye music was fitting ;-). Both the muted pre sunrise and crisp shadow images work.

Excellent Video Michael, I love how relaxed you are and go with the flow of the session. Brilliant, will be watching all of your videos. Quite like the soft tones on the Dunes before Sunrise, however the one with them side lit is pretty special as well.

I'm doing macro photography and i also have these two different moments, just before sunrise with beautiful soft tones and after sunrise with the sun hitting the dew for another kind of pictures, more light centeted.

Sometimes it seems very simple, pointing the camera at some abstract things and shoot the heg. But i now it’s not, you’v gotta “have the eye” to see the photo and wait for the right light. You shure do have that skill Michael. Beautiful images. Thnx

I like the morning images with the soft shadows more (I have one of these as my desktop background, if you don't mind) but all shots are spectacular. However, I was hoping for violet shadows during the golden hour in the evening but I guess (I'd never thought I ever say this) the air was too clean for that.

My favorite shot, in the entire video, is The Black Hole. 9:40 More of a location than a single shot, since you've got more than one of that scene. But that just looks cool with all of the patterns that fall into the Black Hole.
Nicely balanced musical orchestration with the video. You really have grown in your presentation and choreography. I think it's time you found a new set of challenges through collaboration with others.

Wow. Your work with the dunes has got to be among my favorite photography ever. Made a trip across the country to Death Valley for the first time a couple of months ago. What a park! But I found the Mesquite dunes overcrowded and full of footprints. You must be visiting different dunes? Alas, I need to get back out to do more exploring!
I usually like the direct golden hour light way more, but your last shot with the blueish dunes made me think again and honestly, I can't decide which I like more right now :D Great Video with beautiful pictures again!
