They really had trouble nailing down that 4th TGIF show. I scarcely remember Baby Talk, but it looks painfully bad. Going Places and Teen Angel were two more interesting failures in the 9:30 slot.
I remember always switching to something else after the 9:00pm show ended. They never had anything in that timeslot that interested me, though I did watch "Hangin' With Mr. Cooper" occasionally. In 1992 they added the short-lived "Head of the Class" spinoff "Billy" with Billy Connolly that I have every episode with commercials...which I will be posting eventually.
Mr. Cooper and Just the Ten of Us are the only 9:30 shows I remember watching regularly (the latter because I was a big Growing Pains fan). Like Baby Talk, Billy is another TGIF show I have no recollection of.
@@80sCommercialVault The next year (1992-93), the 9:30 half-hour was occupied by _Camp Wilder,_ a one-season wonder which featured Jerry O'Connell, Jay Mohr, and Academy Award-winner Hilary Swank (in her first onscreen role), all together. Later on in the 1990's, _Boy Meets World_ briefly occupied the 9:30 window (due to the series' content becoming more mature in the fourth season), before being moved back to 8:30.
Wow, I don't remember Baby Talk at all and we watched TGIF pretty much every week back in the day. I even remember seeing bits and pieces of that NPH movie.
I think that Creepy Thumbnail Warning, Flavor Wave Warning, Doogie Mulllet Warning and "UGLY TRUUUUK" Warning would have been far more interesting than just a "Severe Thunderstorm Warning" bug!
Curly Sue-Alisan Porter's career should be in resurgence now thanks to her winning the last season of The Voice Darkwing Duck-we need a Kickstarter to revive that series
1:31 A holiday called "Every Day"? Whoever heard of that? 6:27 Holy Moly! We have two of these glasses! I somehow never knew they were from Buger King. 11:30 I wonder how many takes it took to make that ending credit scene?
Not as many takes as it did to get that fast trax helical flip st 10:24. Besides, it was shot with a helicopter at sundown, and a filming flight crew is pretty expensive to put on standby til the next day for a retry- 2-3 takes at most, considering they had to synchronize the coaster too
Oh dude, I remember this TGIF block! With exceptions of the news spots (we had the Phoenix ABC station), I'm pretty sure we were carving pumpkins that night!
Curly Sue...a forgettable kid's movie that will only be remembered for being the last movie the late John Hughes directed. He only wrote scripts after that. Supposedly, James Belushi and him did not get along at all while making the film, with things getting so bad that the director and star barely spoke to each other unless necessary. I always remember wishing Hughes would make some kind of comeback. Sadly, it would never happen.
Who's The Boss in its eighth and final season and Growing Pains in it seventh and final season. Both in the "graveyard shift" and on their last legs as part of an "I Love Saturday" lineup. It sort of felt like an end of an era in a way, but the start of new one ushering in the 90's.
I so remember these. I was 12 going on 13 when these commercials was around. Thank you so much for bringing back my childhood memories.

It only lasted 2 seasons barely that's probably why, It was just a show with the Look Who's Talking concept so nobody dug it.
The show was garbage lol.

The woman from that Extra Strength Tylenol looked a lot like the Martha from the TV show Castle.
+William M. Her name is Susan Sullivan, same actress
80sCommercialVault Ah yes, I didn't know her name offhand. I knew she looked familiar Thank you for getting back to me.

So we can sorta blame Jim belushi for souring Hughes on directing? Another reason to dislike him. Sweet.
He's an asshole: th-cam.com/video/Wh8U7eZg_Zk/w-d-xo.html
00:01 instead of all that effort, why not just put some water in and shake it up, like getting that last bit of shampoo?

in the beginning it sounded like they were saying nobody knows white powered nose lol.
I watched TGIF every week and remember all of the episodes they're showing promos for so I'm pretty sure I was watching these when they were first on.
TGIF I always thought perfect strangers was off the air by the time step by step premiered. Guess I was just not allowed to stay up that late then.
It aired until '93.
EXTREME _picante WILD_ salsa _to the EXTREME_
Gotta love the ridiculous 90's.
Currently in a thunderstorm warning right now, so the bug in the corner makes it even more entertaining 👍
up until now I thought the " ugly truck " granny was local in the California Bay Area. Now I know better.
Eh, you don't have to apologize for the weather bug at the corner. Some of us actually like seeing the weather bugs. :)
Didn't curly sue win the voice? LOL
Stephen King! One of my fave authors (and creepy library stalkers apparently lol)
