- This is an easy way of making a ruffled hem ball gown for a baby girl. It is a step by step explanation on how to cut and sew a ruffled hem ball gown for a baby girl. For this project, i used a 6 months old baby girl measurements to make this dress. You can actually use the same steps that i used to make for any girl age. Awwwwe how sweet. Listen no matter how hard I try I can not figure the measurement that goes in the circle. You know you are cutting out the circle skirt so you can make the slip and add all those beautiful ruffles!!! Can you possibly help me? My little granddaughter's waist measurement is 19 inches. I fold the fabric over into the triangle and there's that circle measurement that I can't figure out or get right. I truly would appreciate your help. I am a subscriber and have watched the video's but can't seem to GET THAT MEASUREMENT CORRECT. Your dresses are so very beautiful. I just want her to have one. lol Thank you for all you do for us out here.
Thank you. To your question, I believe it's about the linning which I folded in a triangle shape which is also a way of folding a half circle flare. What I did was to divide the waist measurement by 6.28 which is a formular used for a full circle flare then you multiply whatever it gives you by 2 to get the half circle . For example 19/6.28=3.0 multiply by 2=6 . Hope this helps.
Oh thank you soooo soooo very much!
How much price
