His songs are what keeps me going on in life even with how difficult it's been. When I listen to his songs again, I feel so much better than before ❤️ I am forever grateful for it. No other songs by any other artists can describe how much I want to scream, but him and his songs do. All the built up anger, hatred and rage I feel for a lot of people who hurt me enough to break me multiple times, makes me listen to his songs again. Last year I almost lost everything my cousin moved in with us supposed to be getting clean he was a drug addict and me and him got close him and my sister basically raised me and taught me who I really was I grew up in a world of hospital's and when people tell you you worthless and ain't ever going to be anything it freaking hurts my parents were fighting all the time didn't see how bad I was hurting the 2 people to see it was her and my cousin the week he got kicked out me and my sister fought about how close we were and told me to stay away from him he left it felt like a piece of me was going with him and it turned me inside out everybody was staring at me like there was a hole in the middle of my body and I couldn't see it got upset went out with friends and got drunk came home my sister waited for me to walk in it was 2 in the morning on a early Saturday morning nobody was home just me and her everybody else was on a trip we fought screamed and didn't talk to each other till the next 3 days we fought again and I had enough and took a walk fell over the sidewalk almost lost my leg I woke up from the surgery missing her and crying in the bed it took her days to come and finally see me she hugged me kissed my cheek and never left my side till I got out a month later she slept beside me the first night scared I was gonna be gone the next day she wrapped her arms and me put her head on my chest and went to sleep
Here in 2024 , as adult now, was a kid back in the day when i first found Linkin Park, this is always the first song i remember hearing when i first discover youtube in the third grade back in 2005 watching Naruto amvs, when i think back this was my first true experience of the internet in general, i would always come to these songs when i felt alone in life and as an adult these hit all the more harder. Makes me sad knowing how Chester felt till the end, but im thankful for him singing and expressing how we all felt or feel inside. Linkin park will always be a part of my core memories. I'm just beginning to hear Linkin Park and their poignant lyrics. I'm amazed with their sound and vocals, especially by Chester, and Mike Shinoda. What a great job doing "in the end" and "somewhere I belong" and many of the others . Linkin Park passed me by years ago. I'm now almost 75 and wasn't interested in listening to music like Linkin Park, but I wish I had known about them and realized how great they are much sooner. Chester was a great performer but he was also very troubled and fought the fight for a long time before his death. He tried to get help and fluctuated from apparently okay, to the fatal depression that ended his life. Very sad situation for all of the fans who relished their music and had hoped for more to come. But they can be heard any time we like now. Recorded music immortalizes itself and those who perform. ... RIP Chester.

When I heard this I was a teenager, shy, bullied, physically and mentally abused and feeling worthless. I related with the pain and anger I had. Then Chester inspired me to write and even write my own music at the time. So I hardly hear the music because it brings me emotions of those times and also reminds me that Chester the person that inspired me is gone. I overcame so much but it still a struggle everyday. I hope life gets better to all of us. Most of us endured many things that we had to overcome and look in a brighter life. I just hope it becomes a reality and not just a thought.

It is all very touching that everyone had some parts in their lives connected to any LP songs. Beginning 2019 was the beginning of what would be one of the worst years of my life and it keeps going in 2020 also, from attempting suicide to selfharm life just lost all meaning since last year and living has just become a synonym of pain that sticks to me no matter how hard I try to get away from it. This song has a special place in my heart. I was born and brought up in a Catholic family in Texas and my boyfriend was born and brought up in a strict Hindu family back in India. He moved to the states for college around four years ago. We met in class and instantly fell for each other. The difference in our races created many obstacles for us. Last year I almost lost everything my cousin moved in with us supposed to be getting clean he was a drug addict and me and him got close him and my sister basically raised me and taught me who I really was I grew up in a world of hospital's and when people tell you you worthless and ain't ever going to be anything it freaking hurts my parents were fighting all the time didn't see how bad I was hurting the 2 people to see it was her and my cousin the week he got kicked out me and my sister fought about how close we were and told me to stay away from him he left it felt like a piece of me was going with him and it turned me inside out everybody was staring at me like there was a hole in the middle of my body and I couldn't see it got upset went out with friends and got drunk came home my sister waited for me to walk in it was 2 in the morning on a early Saturday morning nobody was home just me and her everybody else was on a trip we fought screamed and didn't talk to each other till the next 3 days we fought again and I had enough and took a walk fell over the sidewalk almost lost my leg I woke up from the surgery missing her and crying in the bed it took her days to come and finally see me she hugged me kissed my cheek and never left my side till I got out a month later she slept beside me the first night scared I was gonna be gone the next day she wrapped her arms and me put her head on my chest and went to sleep
Here in 2024 , as adult now, was a kid back in the day when i first found Linkin Park, this is always the first song i remember hearing when i first discover youtube in the third grade back in 2005 watching Naruto amvs, when i think back this was my first true experience of the internet in general, i would always come to these songs when i felt alone in life and as an adult these hit all the more harder. Makes me sad knowing how Chester felt till the end, but im thankful for him singing and expressing how we all felt or feel inside. Linkin park will always be a part of my core memories. I'm just beginning to hear Linkin Park and their poignant lyrics. I'm amazed with their sound and vocals, especially by Chester, and Mike Shinoda. What a great job doing "in the end" and "somewhere I belong" and many of the others . Linkin Park passed me by years ago. I'm now almost 75 and wasn't interested in listening to music like Linkin Park, but I wish I had known about them and realized how great they are much sooner. Chester was a great performer but he was also very troubled and fought the fight for a long time before his death. He tried to get help and fluctuated from apparently okay, to the fatal depression that ended his life. Very sad situation for all of the fans who relished their music and had hoped for more to come. But they can be heard any time we like now. Recorded music immortalizes itself and those who perform. ... RIP Chester.

When I heard this I was a teenager, shy, bullied, physically and mentally abused and feeling worthless. I related with the pain and anger I had. Then Chester inspired me to write and even write my own music at the time. So I hardly hear the music because it brings me emotions of those times and also reminds me that Chester the person that inspired me is gone. I overcame so much but it still a struggle everyday. I hope life gets better to all of us. Most of us endured many things that we had to overcome and look in a brighter life. I just hope it becomes a reality and not just a thought.

Beginning 2019 was the beginning of what would be one of the worst years of my life and it keeps going in 2020 also, from attempting suicide to selfharm life just lost all meaning since last year and living has just become a synonym of pain that sticks to me no matter how hard I try to get away from it. TH-cam just recommended a LP song, I had listened to their music as a kid just thinking the music sounded cool never really understanding the lyrics (for some reason back then the lyrics just felt like words nothing else, I didnt feel a connection, I was a little kid after all), now I see the lyrics and I'm in disbelief of how close I feel to the emotions described in their songs, all the pain, sorrow, grief, frustration, suffering... In a way listening to their songs atm makes me feel a bit better, like it gives me strength, somehow I feel I am less alone/misunderstood
