I love it! An EV isn’t practical for me, so here in the US, I’m test driving the Countryman S (ICE) in a couple of weeks. Can’t wait! Your enthusiasm is infectious!

I’ve had great experiences with Mini after sales services over the past 10 years and no trouble with the car but read they aren’t meant to be great for service and reliability. Maybe that’s a newer thing. I suspect the fit and finish of the car would be better than Tesla?
Note to editor, you might want to rework the end as he mentions the price three times.

Did you mention about charging specifications - AC and DC rates?? Also what can you control via the app (ie. start/stop AC, location of vehicle, unlock/lock doors, view charging stats, etc.)? Boot space? Space in the rear seats? Seems to have missed a lot in this review about the vehicle.

I’ve had the Countryman S E Sport L3 since early April after 3 years with the F56 Cooper S E. I loved the hatch version and rarely drive more than 50 miles round trips so the hatch was perfectly acceptable for its range even in the coldest winters. Now I have 65kW usable - just made a 450 miles round trip with 2x18 minute charge stops, I would never have dreamed of doing that in the F56 Electric.
The S E. Has a peak charging rate of 150kW DC and 11kW AC - it’s a pity in this day and age that 150kW is only held until about 43% then it tapers off quite quickly - surely the BMS could be programmed to hold peak speed to at least 60%? Otherwise it’s a lovely comfortable car to make long trips in and a great one for having a blast in on bendy country roads. Efficiency isn’t bad either as I’m averaging around 4.4miles/kWh at the moment, that raises another technical issue - why does it need to power both motors all the time - my 2023 D250 Defender manages to disengage the front drive above 28 mph but re-engages it if slippage of a wheel occurs or I want to welly it?

Sorry but how can they still use a HUD with that little plastic screen? Either do it right with a windshield projection or just don't...

He mentioned it is the rake of the windscreen. Also it makes the windscreen very expensive.

Great video but toward the last quarter of the video the point about the price differential of the entry level model and the subject model at $78k is repeated 3 or 4 times.

Are the cup holders large enough to take a 600ml bicycle water bottle?

The use of "amazing" is the hallmark of someone who doesn't actually know what he wants to say so the default "amazing" is all he can come up with. The interior of this car has had every possible opportunity for the driver to interact with the car eliminated and now has all the tactile feel of ordering a sandwich from a gas station vending machine. yawn....and all for thousands more than before......

@@jimc2676- Mini is a brand, not a specific car company. If they want to capture the market of Mini enthusiasts that outgrow the Cooper, then this Ford C-Max sized car is a great idea.

No electrical car for me period. Can't run far, and inconvenience. My friend had to take it back to the dealership to exchange the gasoline for a regular car; he said no, no electric car.
