we all have difference in opinions and my answer to you r comment is that it is an opinion and I respect that. The Holy Spirit can move in mysterious ways . None of us humans are judge to say what is and what is not. Only God is judge and to prove something we must use his words (which by the way are self-sufficient) putting scripture upon scripture.

people constantly mix up the Spiritual Baptist with the Orishas but they are not the same. Oh yes both groups have African practices within their worship but the main difference is that Orishas' believe in more than one gods. the Spiritual Baptist believe in ONE God, Jehovah.

the actions that you see, that is the shaking and wild movements are what the Spiritual Baptist describe as the manifestation of the Holy Spirit or the Baptism of the Holy Ghost which can take many forms as outline in the New Testament of the Bible. Graham you will not be the first person to think that the actions appear crazy. on the day of Pentecost when the Holy Spirit manifested upon the disciples people thought they were drunk and possibly crazy. so Graham you are excused. lol!
