I saw it and thought it was wonderful that they did this 2ne1 cover. Teachers nearby following you is an excellent sign. It really seems like they are being very well prepared and looked after. Thank you very much for watching and commenting!
Thank you so much for your react on Babymonster. To inform you, Pharita and Chiquita were sick during the show. There were the clips showed that both Pharita and Chiquita were coughing. I hope I can listen more from all of them when they are in better condition.
Your reaction is so professional and supportive, I agree that they have done their best with live performance ❤ Pharita caught my attention since the evaluation ❤
Rami actually had flu on top of that she chose to sing with no backtrack at all for her solo cover. She is the one who usually gets most difficult lines high notes low notes whistle she has to do adlibs and harmonies almost in entire song. So even in others part she doesn't get much rest. But i had 100% trust in her and i was right despite all she pulled off everything
You are right, few of them were 🤧 not well. And they have just finished their opening and solo performances. Sam Fischer and Demi Lovato (OG song writer and singer of “What other people say”) reacted and noticed Pharita’s cover version and praise her flawless performance… Pharita got shocked 😮 and thanked them for noticing her (according to her mom’s IG she had her sore throat condition over a week before concert) Thank you again for the knowledge. Monstiez love your reaction.
considering this is there first stop on there first world tour and first time performing this set, it is mighty impressive. For me, Chiquita is so stable over all. Jaw dropping stable for a 15 year old doing a stadium concert. They all have so much potential. Ruka can sing but rarely does it. She is the main rapper of the group, so rapping is her main focus.
It's wonderful for me to see these teenagers in this project. I had a choir with lots of teenagers 10 years ago, and it was a lot of fun. It brings me a certain nostalgia. For me, Chiquita has been the most regular among them too. I recorded the reaction to Ruka's first video last year, but I definitely don't have any skills to analyze her. Thank you so much for watching and commenting!
O arranjo que a banda fez realmente me cativou.
yeah its the mixture of excitement, tiredness and rush of adrenalin, happiness everything mixed and they learnt a lot from this for the next performance. YG is so mean sometimes bcause they gave to sing 90% live😅
Hola senor Puma Bass. I'm so glad you are reacting to this song. You mentioned how tired Ahyeon and a few of the other members are and I also believe that is true. They danced vigorously during their first set which consists of 5 high energy songs all with demanding choreography (dancing). The songs are Drip, Batter Up, Clik Clak, Like That, and Sheesh. They then perform solo covers in this order...1. Rora (I think she was having technical problems with her in-ear); 2. Pharita: 3. Rami; 4 Asa; 5. Ruka; (Asa/Ruka perform Woke Up In Tokyo) 6. Chiquita; 7. Ahyeon. These are covers that they performed during the last Evaluation series during their training days and I felt Chiquita performed her cover with the most improvement and stability. The second set starts off with this song (Love, Maybe) and has a total of 8 songs. Of the 8 songs, 4 have full choreography, and 2 are 2NE1 covers with minimal choreography. Love Maybe and Dream are ballads with no choreography and were the first 2 songs of set 2. The encore consisted of 5 upbeat songs where they are jumping around and moving around a lot so the vocal quality is somewhat diminished. I believe they were overly excited and were perhaps riding on adrenaline of performing their first concert show so their vocals may have suffered from this. And now that you are saying essentially the same thing, you have confirmed my feelings about their performance. The other factor that we must consider is during a concert the music played by the band is played at a higher tempo and pace of the show is faster and if they are dancing aggressively there is less time in between songs to recover enough to sing the next song well. I think that they must tone down the dancing a bit to conserve energy so their vocals are stronger. Athletes have to improve their cardio before they can play at the highest level. I think it may be the same for singers. Thank you so much for your professional analysis. I'm learning a lot from you. Roberto, from LA
It's a beautiful song, I just discovered it in this reaction. I was happy that they recorded this in the studio. It's the first time I liked them. All these difficulties you mentioned are the expected difficulties of a tour, as I mentioned. But the company has shown itself to be competent and they will get all of this right over time. Thank you very much for watching and commenting, Roberto! I'm glad you liked it!
I was in both concerts in Seoul and I think they sounded better in the second day performance. Maybe they were more nervous or tense in the first one. Ruka really suprised me on how good she sounded in the second concert. These girls were amazing live and KSPO was just the perfect venue. They can sing, dance and they really interact with the crowd
What a privilege you had to see this wonderful project, live. I would really like you to comment on your perceptions in the videos I'm going to release evaluating their solo performances. Today I'm going to watch the footage from the 2nd day, and I intend to bring more analysis of them singing together, on this second day. Thank you very much for watching and commenting!
As I said in the video, my competence is zero to talk about Rap. But I really wish I had at least mentioned her in the reaction. I also forgot about Rora. I realized they were missing only later. I really apologize to you and all the fans because I didn't want this to happen, especially in this video that talks about such a special moment.🙏
I know a little about their (and other companies') bad reputation, but the excellent technical vocal preparation they are providing to the girls is undeniable, in my opinion. Thank you very much for watching and commenting!
4 vocal registers: The vocal fry register is the lowest vocal register The modal voice register is the usual register for speaking and singing The Falsetto is the vocal register occupying the frequency range just above the modal voice The whistle register is the highest register of the human voice, lying above the modal register and falsetto Modal voice can be divided into three types: chest voice, mixed voice, and head voice. Belt is another name for mixed voice.
Wow! This is controversial. VERY CONTROVERSIAL. I would need a video to talk about this, because here in Brazil it is extremely discussed. For example, here we do not use the "modal voice" classification, "Vocal Fry" is not considered a register, and the Belting is a technique within the mixed voice (and understood in a way contrary to what is accepted in the United States and Europe). And we are talking about popular singing, because in classical singing there is even more confusion, especially when it comes to support. The classification of registers is not even possible to compare with popular singing, as many classifications do not even exist. I love this subject very much. I would spend hours on Live just debating this. Thank you very much for watching and for your comment!
Thanks for your reaction. Respect your opinion and analysis. this is the middle part of the performance! They all finished singing their solos. Ahyeon just finished singing «Dangerously» by the way,she had problems equipment and this part began. I advise you to check the second day, there were no problems with the equipment, there were no worries. And now there are many videos with better sound and picture quality. You can easily find and enjoy.
This video was perfect because it exemplified what I had said about the difficulties of the tour, in Rami's reaction and in this video itself. These girls are going to fly. Thanks for watching and commenting!
@@pumabass Thanks for feedback. But I think if you don't know all the aspects, the conclusions will not be entirely clear and correct. Anyway you professional, i am just general fan. I understand your point. Don’t minde me wrong. Thanks and have nice day. 🤝
@ Don't bother adding your opinion, please. They are just points of view about something we like and want the best for. But I would like to clarify that my intention with this channel is to "demystify idols and singers", and show that singing in the studio is different from live singing. I've seen fans destroy their idols due to wrong conclusions regarding technical-vocal issues (I realize that Ahyeon already suffers from this). And I think I can contribute at least to clarify some things. So, the idea is to show that the voices on the albums are created by algorithms and soundboards, and that the reality of the stage (without playback) is not so beautiful, and often thankless. There are many difficulties and the Idol/team will need to deal with all of this. Within this proposal of mine, I sometimes prefer to react to videos where they are under a high stress situation. The true vocal quality appears there. That first show exemplified all of that, in my opinion. I made this answer longer and deeper because I know other people may have this doubt and will read it too, and it might clarify. I really appreciate your positioning and the politeness in doing so.🙏
there are many video & fancams that record the full concert with better pictures from close range, there are also solo performances of all of them at the concert, yeah ruka 100% rapper
You are spot on. There were sound issues the first performance. Many of their in ear monitors weren't working correctly. And all of them, but especially Ahyeon, were quite exuberant and excited early in the show. That kind of nervous energy is really draining. I look forward to hearing them after they have a dozen shows or so experience.
I agree with you about Babymonster shaking up the kpop industry - another one of those things you picked up on that i don't think is talked about as much as it should. Watching a lot of other groups' performances before and after Babymonster's debut, I think it's pretty clear. And very positive. Here are a couple videos for you. th-cam.com/video/4sPvEP-nE4E/w-d-xo.htmlsi=5TkJzPhmtxma6_M4 th-cam.com/video/esAQcB2jC_A/w-d-xo.htmlsi=v1lhig0KqPfiAAAc One is behind the scenes clips from recording Drip. For Ruka's part, one of the producers complimented her singing. The other one is the complete set of solos from the second night of the new tour. Chiquita and Pharita really stood out. In fact, Sam Fischer, the songwriter and Demi Lovato, the original singer, went on social media and praised Pharita. She added new elements to her interpretation, including some powerful belting, and harmonizing with herself in the backing track. All 7 continue to demonstrate the work they are doing to improve their craft.
This Covers video has very good audio. I will use it to react. I'm going to watch Ruka's video. I will react to Pharita. I'm glad you liked my opinions and review. Thank you very much for watching and commenting!
Thank you for your excellent analysis of the Babymonster performers. I have watched all of your reactions to them up until now and learnt a lot as I am just a fan with no musical background, although I have listened to a huge variety of music during my 74 years. I have a rather eclectic taste in music. Recently it is more Kpop but a limited number of groups; Babymonster, Blackpink, AESPA, Badvillain and the amazing solo singer IU. I started to watch this reaction 4 days ago but stopped once I realised it was a poor quality fancam and worried that you would not be impressed and judge them on poor audio quality. I just watched your reaction to Pharita's cover from the same show. Your lengthy explanation at the start of that reaction and your comments during that reaction convinced me to watch this reaction. I should not have doubted you. What I found most interesting was your explanation and acceptance of how normal it is for performance to drop off as a show progresses especially given the amount of physical exertion involved with energetic dance performances. Your confidence that their performances will greatly improve over the course of the world tour. as they and YG adapt to what is possible. is really encouraging. I don't have a bias but Chiquitta intrigues me and has done since YG first released the black and white 'teaser' that you recently reacted to. Her growth even in that year and something is quite amazing already. This growth potential was recognised by YG from very early on which is why he selected her to be in Babymonster after being in training only a few months. Having a bias in Babymonster is a wayste of time because as soon as you select a bias six bias wreckers come for you. I believe that one of the reasons for their success is that before they are idols they are fans - of each other. So they support each other well and that will help, not only during the tour but at all times. You mentioned a difficulty can be members living together when on tour. They already do and have done for years as they live in a YG dormitory, though they have now shifted to individual rooms rather than shared rooms. If you have read this far, and are inclined to respond, I would be interested in your brief comments re the ability of dance to further enhance musical interpretation. With reference to Babymonster an example would be how much their Clik Clak (more or less all rap) black and white dance video adds to the music video (also black and white). The main rappers are Ruka and Asa. Asa is I believe a legitimate singer with an interesting tone and technique. Ruka also has an interesting singing voice. I think it could be interesting for you to listen to songs where they sing, even if not as a reaction video, Thank you for such informative and encouraging reactions to these inspiring young ladies. They are a truly useful learning experience.
I'm glad I managed to make myself understood and you decided to watch my analysis. This is the objective of this channel, to make fans understand that what we hear in albums and MVs are not the reality of the singers' technical quality. In the studio a perfect sound will be produced, but on stage it is reality that will be shown. And, no matter how advanced the technique, the singer will have to deal with all the difficulties of a live performance, and may not sing well. And it's okay. My ability to evaluate a dance is the same as evaluating a Rap, that is, ZERO. But, what I can say is that dancing is difficult for a singer. It really gets in the way. I'm a big believer in "Project Babymonster." There are 7 future high-end soloists, with distinct vocal qualities, which we will discover as they evolve. Thank you so much for watching and commenting!
Technically Rami is the most skilled but she does suffer from a lung issue just a few months ago with a leak in her lung which may be restricting her lung volume capacity.
I can't consider myself a fan because I don't like the studio songs (only Love, Maybe) and because I don't follow them, as a fan would. But I'm really enchanted by the project and the vocal quality of each one. And, of course, they will always be on this channel. Thank you so much for watching and commenting!😈
you got a comment that they had a lot of in ear and technical problems on day 1 and you answered thank you for the info. But you decided to react to a Day1 performance and you said you cant find anything better? TH-cam is full of videos whith better sound quality . sorry but i dont get why you choose this video for your reaction.
Until Monday morning (here in Brazil), when I recorded this video, there was no footage of people close to the stage or speakers, like the one in the link you sent me. As I wouldn't have another moment to record, I used the best one I found so far. But I liked using this recording because it exemplified what I said in this video and in Rami's reaction, where I talk about the challenges of the tour. The video in the link you sent me has very good audio, it was what I wanted. I will use it in my reactions. Thank you very much for watching and for the information and suggestions!
Oh after I heard about you music taste and what you want about music I recommend you Ateez (guerrilla)MV i’m sure you liking this song also there nicknames in kpop performance kings you can watch there live performance for this song too. *RUKA main dancer main rapper vocalist Ruka Asa vocalist but more focusing on rap because other girls all vocalist i saw Ruka in fan meeting she did a rami and pharita’s part I’m shocked how she nailed without practicing because she’s rapper
Here in Brazil, people talk a lot about Ateez's good performance at Coachella. I need to watch and maybe react. I really liked Ruka's stage presence. Quite aggressive and bold. Thank you so much for watching and commenting!
@ you welcome they’re right there Coachella performances insanely good maybe it’s blocked if you watch in Coachella channel you can watch in fans fancame Ateez popular in brazil the last time in 2022 they did concert in stadium i think this year they have a plan to come because brazil and argentina fans working for it in all social media’s and doing some conten for it After seen Ruka i start to watching BM because it’s hard to seen good girl rapper in kpop i said wow finally i found great girl rapper in kpop I enjoyed when i watching Ruka
My opinion they are nervos and tired because this is first show, they cant balance their energy correctly to maintain the whole show, yes they will know and get better in next shows upcoming. This is day1, but day2 released and its better than this.
Nice analysis saw the whole concert they did good but most of them expanded too much energy running jumping and dancing, especially Ahyeon. Btw have you tried listening to Dreamcatcher ? I think they will be up your aley in musical taste. They have a more metal/rock sound ..
They will get used to it. It's beautiful to see. I've heard some Dreamcatcher stuff, but I need to make time to dig deeper. But I had an impact because I hear it expecting the weight of Rock, but it's something lighter.😅 Thank you very much for watching and commenting! I'm glad you liked it!
It's something that Ahyeon needs to fix or change her performance style. There have been talks about Ahyeon performance before, that she puts on too much energy and they think that she should tone it down, but Ahyeon fans expressed their dissatisfaction towards the people who warned her about this, and they demanded that Ahyeon perform as hard as she wants and not to pay attention to the warnings. The result is what we see. Ahyeon should fix it or do something because it's having a negative effect on the team.
@ no she doesn’t!! She is just fine! She just needs to get used to the consent and learn when to rest or conserve some strength ! Overall she is amazing both SP and singing (all of them are ) She should not tone it down !
ok that's my opinion not your. I've been following them for a long time. Ahyeon and Rami are the top 2 in terms of vocal skills in this group. Everyone knows that. But she didn't show her top performance in this performance. I'm commenting here because I think you're being biased. Of course Ahyeon is a good singer but the problem is she tired. The other 6 are also tired but they still performed as expected. On social media, there was a ranking of solo performances of all 7 members on the same stage. Ahyeon performance was ranked 6th.You don't think like me but I just want to use your opinion to confirm the answer to the point that was discussed. Thank you. 😅
I tried listening to their music, but I didn't like it either. I only know about them because of the news headlines. Thank you very much for watching and commenting!
YG has a history of performing live with a band & not doing much choreo. I think they are tired because look at them. They are not physically fit. They have lost lot of weight compared to their trainee days.
At this point, YG is right and doing a great job. But the tour will help everyone learn to manage these difficulties, including their health. Thanks for watching and commenting!

Pharita is on the right way to becoming a great singer. step by step.
Her reaction comes at the weekend. Thanks for watching and commenting!

What a privilege you had to see this wonderful project, live. I would really like you to comment on your perceptions in the videos I'm going to release evaluating their solo performances. Today I'm going to watch the footage from the 2nd day, and I intend to bring more analysis of them singing together, on this second day.
Thank you very much for watching and commenting!
chiquita is all rounder , she is main dancer but she can be main vocalist too she has natural talent❤ i love her voice❤
She isn't a main dancer..
@ ofc she is main dancer, then who?
This must be love,LOOVEE LOOVEE LOOVEE~~~❤❤❤.
I recorded her reaction to her solo (to be edited). She won me over. Thank you very much for watching and commenting!
@byyounicky then who? lmao u forgot that asa and ruka are better?
I wished you would have commented on Asa. She is main rapper, but the singing part here sounded so improved.
@@pumabass Oh but she sang a bit in this one.
the only person who has praised yg in anything
I know a little about their (and other companies') bad reputation, but the excellent technical vocal preparation they are providing to the girls is undeniable, in my opinion. Thank you very much for watching and commenting!
Please reaction to their solo stage performance
Yes. I already have 3 recorded, I just need to edit them. Thank you very much for watching and commenting!
@ Thank you
I want you to watch the solo stage on the concert.
In concert Pharita Chiquita were sick (I saw fan cam that they cough on stage)
She will be the first of the solo reactions in this show. Thanks for watching and commenting!
4 vocal registers:
The vocal fry register is the lowest vocal register
The modal voice register is the usual register for speaking and singing
The Falsetto is the vocal register occupying the frequency range just above the modal voice
The whistle register is the highest register of the human voice, lying above the modal register and falsetto
Modal voice can be divided into three types: chest voice, mixed voice, and head voice.
Yes, since Monday the good videos started appearing. I will use it in the other reactions. Thanks for watching and commenting!
It's just the first step, of the first year. The future is promising. Thank you very much for watching and commenting
I agree with you about Babymonster shaking up the kpop industry - another one of those things you picked up on that i don't think is talked about as much as it should. Watching a lot of other groups' performances before and after Babymonster's debut, I think it's pretty clear. And very positive.
Here are a couple videos for you.

One is behind the scenes clips from recording Drip.
I think it could be interesting for you to listen to songs where they sing, even if not as a reaction video,
Thank you for such informative and encouraging reactions to these inspiring young ladies.
@@pumabass Thanks for your response.
Technically Rami is the most skilled but she does suffer from a lung issue just a few months ago with a leak in her lung which may be restricting her lung volume capacity.
In my opinion, it is completely cured. There it was just tiredness. Thanks for watching and commenting!
Sadly but she finds a way to work around it so she’s awesome in my book and still the best vocalist in BM and Top 3 in 5th Gen
YG always sing live ❤❤❤❤❤
I hope the rest of the industry learns this. Thanks for watching and commenting!
Monstiez😈
I can't consider myself a fan because I don't like the studio songs (only Love, Maybe) and because I don't follow them, as a fan would. But I'm really enchanted by the project and the vocal quality of each one. And, of course, they will always be on this channel.
Thank you so much for watching and commenting!😈
PLS. React To Member Solo Stage .
I already have 3 recorded, I just need to edit them. Thank you very much for watching and commenting!
you got a comment that they had a lot of in ear and technical problems on day 1 and you answered thank you for the info.
@ you welcome
they’re right there Coachella performances insanely good maybe it’s blocked if you watch in Coachella channel you can watch in fans fancame
Ateez popular in brazil the last time in 2022 they did concert in stadium i think this year they have a plan to come because brazil and argentina fans working for it in all social media’s and doing some conten for it
After seen Ruka i start to watching BM because it’s hard to seen good girl rapper in kpop i said wow finally i found great girl rapper in kpop I enjoyed when i watching Ruka
Could you please react on their senior blackpink coachella.
I'll look, I'm curious. But the react queue is long and my time is scarce. Thank you very much for watching and commenting!
And Ahyeon very high performance the concert effort 2 days She is tired and rush the body
She and the company will learn to manage this difficulty. Thank you very much for watching and commenting!
My opinion they are nervos and tired because this is first show, they cant balance their energy correctly to maintain the whole show, yes they will know and get better in next shows upcoming. This is day1, but day2 released and its better than this.
The tour is the perfect experience for development. Thanks for watching and commenting!
But I had an impact because I hear it expecting the weight of Rock, but it's something lighter.😅
Thank you very much for watching and commenting!
Thank you. 😅
ภริตาคอเจ็บเธอป่วยอยู่
Hard work. Thank you very much for watching and commenting!
Don't you know blackpink? Bro.
