Listen breddas! inner circle version and jacob miller and others are great!! enjoy the reggae music!!! and excuse me while I light my spliff!! :D jah bless!
It's not Miller who's singing. This song is from the album Rock The Boat (aka Dread Reggay Hits), which I think it's the first Inner Circle album. The vocalists were Prilly Hamilton and Funky Brown. I think this voice is from Brown.
well dancehall and hiphop are reggae too. just like in those days, they mixed disco and rock with Jamaican music to make reggae. all reggae is pretty commercial... inner circles covers like this one are pretty much straight copies of the original versions!! i dont really like a lot of the "conscious" artists these days. they dont really sound sincere. - like Buju Banton - im glad he started singing dancehall again!!!!!!
I'm not speaking about like or dislike that version... But it's too much commercial. Once Miller died, Inner Circle has to stop, or at least change his name. I know that musical progress never stops, but they can't play hip-hop or dancehall music and say "THIS IS REGGAE MUSIC!!!"...
I like this song very much :]
dis is ROOTS!!!! nice job,

I’m curious of how you found out. Interesting.
i agree. He isn't Jacob Miller who sings.
mariomarley,it is their choise and i am sure they feel and know what better to do after death of a member than what you think.dont you think? heh.
Esse cantando não é Jacob!
ahahahah. I laugh when I see the version of the late Inner Circle...
This version sounds fantastic, but The Heptones' version is at the same level...
i don't understand what is so bad about inner circle's new version?
