I intentionally didn't do this. Over 11 months I had the two panels on on two different seasons and thus whose to say the sun 'quality/strength' would be the same one season/day to the next. I think they are similar-enough in output that a direct comparison isn't necessary.
I've had the lensun panel on my fj cruiser and I'm in Australia and its been on for now a period for 4.5 years and its great. No issues whatsoever. Its great. I will say I did first order the cascade panel and didn't realise it was US dollars so it worked out to be $1100 AU dollars. So I cancelled the order and got the lensun and it was $600 AU dollars.
I have mine tied into the starting battery. Why? The Gladiator sits for long periods of time while I work from home or drive my other Jeep. And since most newer vehicles have parasitic draw, I will know that the battery will always be full and healthy. I do have additional panels that keep the house battery powered as well.
I don't think Lensun is a knock necessarily, it looks like you had their first generation/version and there were issues with delamination like you had along with fitment. The version they have now is a much better fit and better constructed panel from what you had there.
This is an extremely stupid review, if you don’t trust your car lol?? People would get this to top off their battery if they used it to run a fridge or played music on their car. You didn’t even show the wattage/charge rate and this review is pretty pointless.
This was a good review . But to me you left out the most important part. We need a power output comparison . Thanks

@@outdoorsman1llcjust test them side by side before attaching them to the hood! such an obvious solution...

If it's tied to the cranking battery, then you can run 24/7 dash cam. This is useful for a spare vehicle that doesn't get used as often
The best double-sided tape for this application is "Eternabond" tape. Hope this helps cool truck👍👍

Great review. Thank you!
I was about to buy the Lensun. 👍
Fellow Utah resident here as well, just subscribed 🤙 see ya on the trails.
Any issues with the paint from where the tape sits directly on the hood of the truck when removed?
Output comparison?
