Thank you for the suggestion, I've been wanting to try the paint but I'm a skeptic. For anyone looking its color curl pop.
I have both, the gel is more subtle but I'm not crazy about it. These pop way more but also depends on the colors you mix and use. I found with the gel it doesn't play well with some of the products I use. I don't have that issue with the wax.
As a heads up, pop color curl just rebranded! It's called Gemini naturals now. And it's Black woman owned gurrrllll.

Try it! Try it! I have purple, red, gold and white. I did the purple at the roots and mixed the red and white to get pink on the ends for an ombre unicorn look. It was fire!!!! I have the gold as well but planned on mixing it with the red and white to get a copper color. I'll tag you guys in Instagram so you can see the results...

i think the color actually looks nice. i experience the same thing where my hair looks drier, so i just add oil as i’m applying the wax. in addition, it may have also been the wax to give you that volume as well. whenever i use the wax, i get a ton of volume along with my hair products. i think blue would look DOPE on you!

I don't know but the transfer was crazy for me and the chalkiness is real. It was awful and I had red marks all over my the light switches and keyboard.
I think a different color is the way to go. That wash 'n go though!!🔥

I bought this product and didn’t expect the flakes to cover my shirt and cover my hands with each touch if my hair. Maybe I missed that part when people explained this product but you definitely his the nail on the head. I like the product either way the exception of above-mentioned con.

I had mixed emotions about the gold, too. I think I used too much at first, but the 2nd time around i applied it and then combed through my hair to spread it out a bit more to look more like highlights. Turned out much better and not as ashy looking as it did the first time I tried it out. Also, mixing it with the red turned out DOPE!
I think I would do more of a balayage look next time. I do feel like this color would look so good with placing it random places.

Your wash-n-go looks FABULOUS!!!! I bought the gold Hair Paint Wax and tried it on a small section. I saw green and have no intention of putting it on my hair "as is". I'm thinking of getting the orange to mix with it to add warmth to it and to hopefully cancel out the green. But there are a lot of people trying this gold paint, thinking their hair looks blond but it looks green. I've had blond highlights before as well as a head full of blond tips (LOVED IT!) so I know what MY blond should look like.
Also not sure if the gold looks the same across brands, since there are a few out there.
I also noticed, cause I also have the blue wax and did a few blue curls here and there, that if you apply an oil or serum to your hair, the color will fade/disappear, which is a bummer since I apply a little something to my hair nightly/daily.

It's different for sure, it looks like a dark tan-ish color or a dark/ faded blonde kinda. The wash and go is bomb!!!
I bought the gold one before I watched this video and it was a dark olive green in my black 4c hair. I was so disappointed😢 I think the gold looks better on those with lighter hair colors. But then I got the orange and sis I'm popping! It's a nice brown with a slight tint of orange in my hair.
I think the “fashion” colors are better for this product. I’ve seen a lot of people say they like the gold and silver and orange ones but I feel like those always look dry. The pink and purple and green are so cute but you’ve gotta be into that kind of thing. Since it’s a wax though, all of them compliment styling pretty well
I can confirm that this color comes out exactly like that : greenish gold and chalky. Thankfully the hair does not feel damaged though. However stay clear of Mofajang Gold color if you want a true golden blond color. Thank you for your video. I wish I had seen it before. PS: There is also Hair Paint Wax brand available in the USA so more expensive to get shipped to Europe but it seems to be the same product?!?
I think it came out good Kim! I didn’t see green until you mentioned it. But, it covered well cuz you have a lot of hair! So maybe try a different color, like something in the red family...I think that would look 💣 on you! Also, maybe try it on your hair when it’s already dry, instead of applying when wet!

I actually like the fact that the color is popping to not have actually bleached your hair but me personally I would choose a different color.
It looks good on my end. Maybe in person super close you didn’t like it, but it looks bomb on camera. Nothing is gonna look like actually bleaching your hair, so I think this is a great, healthy alternative. It looks good to me.

WNG coming through dropping 😍💧. I really like the Eco gold. The praying hands is the method to use! I want to do color so bad, but I don’t think I’ll commit. I would try this now. I love that with color it’s like you can see every curl, compared to just jet black hair. The color I think is a little off maybe, but I don’t dislike it. Yeah the color does make your hair look dry, if it was more vibrant I think we’d like it more. But this WNG period I’m feeling 😍🥰. I think we should try another color, maybe something bold🧐. Its just the color.. I have 4 colors green, blue, purple, and red. The blue and purple are the best on dark hair, it pops a lot
Maybe it wasn’t the color, but maybe you applied a little too heavily & maybe that’s why the color came out so dark/greenish to you & why some was flaking. In my opinion, your hair looks great though & you’re so pretty!

You might like Crown Paint Colors. It's also temporary and highly pigmented.
I don’t think the color is bad at all, but you should try the color on dry hair ... at least 80% dry. it’ll change the color completely

I think it's better for minimal highlights only. I bought some and that's how I intend to use it instead. I thought it looked dope as Hades in that pineapple puff though! 💖
I used it too and it was the same result with the golden green color but I tried the purple and the red and those colors where amazing. Try out another color. I also did the red and put the gold on top of the red as a highlight and that looked great. Try that.

I like it! I've seen women mix the gold and the red for a strawberry blonde maybe that would complement tour skin tone better. I kind of like the blonde on you though from the tv screen. Maybe even white and gold might take off the green color you saw. I've never tried these though lol I've been obsessed with watching people apply this product for a month.
