I love how you build up your character's music with each parts of the phases. You clearly have a vision for them. I hope one day someone makes a boss mod for your characters in the Souls games, even if for fun.
This is some really great writing! Love the accelerando and the choir part at 3:53. The tempo increase gives you this sudden dreadful feeling that the second phase is going to be no joke and the vocals went places there elevating the piece. Bravo!
Insane track! Love the use of piano, not something used often in bloodborne for the first phase, and so awesome that you make this free for public use! huge respect
Phase two is in 10/16, which is just 5/4 with different groupings. Assuming you’re set with a DAW and orchestral VST, the only advice worth listening to is to allow your music to be bad for a long time. Put your ego aside and attempt to make bad music. Otherwise you’ll just get stuck and frustrated. This is the stepping stone from beginner to intermediate. If you truly haven’t gotten set up with any software yet, there are better people to ask. Just put questions into TH-cam and there are many videos that will help you. As a warning, do _NOT_ buy any courses for music production not matter how enticing it may sound. They are not worth your time or money. Everything you need to know is either free, or comes from experience and experience alone. There is a whole industry built on preying on new producers like this. Generally, if a TH-camr is selling you any kind of plugin/ sample pack or especially a course, do not buy it. East west and spitfire are the main orchestral VST makers. I use east west for the most part.
I'd love to use this in a DND game, but I would need a way to be able to loop each phase until he's dead. Could you potentially make an extended version?
I second this. This music and th-cam.com/video/nVoOzRhazbs/w-d-xo.html fit perfectly with the encounter my party will face. I'm willing to monetarily contribute if you (@dutonic) could make extended/looped versions of both songs, not sure how much that would help you.
I know the project is free, my idea is to monetarily assist you so you can produce looped versions for each "phase" of both songs, and you would be 100% incentivized to post them publicly here! HUGE thumbs up for your work on your songs, all the ones I've heard are PHENOMENAL.
@serental7918 @GeeLS0 Your wish has been granted: th-cam.com/video/W36n8lwcPDs/w-d-xo.html I'll also have an extended version of Vani up in the next few days. I'd post them to the main channel but the algorithm probably won't like it. I'll probably post extended versions of big hits like Vani to the main channel, but I've set up a secondary one for the less popular songs.
@@dutonic Also in your experience do the East West libraries sound good out of the box, or do you find that you typically have to tweak them a lot to sound how you want them to?
@@Aspyrus Both. Depends on the purpose. For medium sized contemporary orchestral, they sound great out of the box. Little mixing required beyond volume stuff.

Is this in 5/4? It sounds amazing! I've been looking to get into more intense orchestral compositions, do you have any advice?
