- Slash Commands are here to make it easier to use bots! As soon as your favorite bots have migrated, you'll only need to type forward-slash ("/") to bring up a list of all possible commands rather than spam-guessing them.

@@caustic8455 It actually changes how you scroll trough content with your text cursor ( no the mouse ) when its diasabled, moving the cursor makes you scroll the page down, and when its active, you move the cursor to the next line

When you see this beautiful masterpiece of a video, which clearly shows how passionate the Discord Team is and you remember reading articles about Microsoft potentionally buying Discord...I really hope they won't...but if they do, they'll let the Discord team do what their best at and don't pressure them

discord does not put effort into it they add fetures once every few years and half the time its stuff like this that no one asked for plus there arent even any bots that are useing this maybe we will see some later down the line but people are used to ! comands on discord know changing it would be a bit annoying for everyone used to how it is know all so putting every bot under the same prefix can cause compatablity issuess so not even all the bots could use this new / feture if they have overlapping commands
As a person who knows a decent amount of the Discord API (the thing developers use to make Discord bots), I can say that slash commands are very flawed by design and limited by Discord. For large bots with a number of commands, they are hard-limited by the number of commands that can be added and used, meaning that the bot may support some slash commands, but other commands for the same bot will only be able to be used with a different prefix (making it more difficult and confusing to use for users), on top of the number of extra steps developers need to go through to register and update slash commands on the platform. So while this might sound all fine and dandy, it can end up making things more complex in the long run unless efforts are made to increase hard-limits and rate-limits.
oh and bot commands overlapping would be a problem normaly the popular bots just let you change the prefix but idk how you could change it for these / commands so large bots would just have to avoid useing the same ones as other large bots
Finally, I can talk to bots without getting lower self esteem everytime I mess up

First, using "le" wouldnt make any sense, because that's a French article. Spanish uses "el/las" and "la/las".
Second, putting an article before the "esta" doesn't make any sense either, because "esta" is a verb. The sentence Techno says translates to "Oh damn, where is the library?".

I hate trying all kinds of prefixes just to find out that I don't even have permission and stuff. Really annoying, but this is awesome! Especially the part that you can specify arguments and the user will get some info about how they're used.

As a developer, using slash commands is a no brainer I can include all the info the user needs built right into their client, people love it so far, but I can’t wait to bring this feature out of beta for my bot
