It’s the version of Photoshop that you have to download from their website. I use it on the desktop computer. For an iPad I use Procreate, it’s an app that cost about $20.
Hi Ann, the trees in the background are in shadow (from a cloud shadow) and the foreground trees are in the sunlight. If they were both in the light then the background trees would be lighter.

I use orange as a modifier mostly
it seems like the trees in the very back should be lighter bc they are farther back. (in the picture with the rocks)
