those light stopping shutters seem like a nightmare. Ik you didn't ask but maybe consider getting hurricane shutters? Like from "home safe rolling shutters. During the day they're invisible if you switch them up and they block out the sun completely. My grandmothers house had a very old school classical furniture feel (like fancy stuff from the 50's collecting dust not as cute s yours!!!) but the shutters really fit fine with the aesthetic and you can still have normal blinds and pretend like they aren't there. They go up and down with a switch like lights do. Might be a good solution (if a bit pricey). I grew up with them and always felt so safe and cozy at night

Bought it in the original gold with blue stones at launch. I then couldn’t resist the silver even though 99% of my jewellery is gold. I ended up buying the gold with pink/purple stones too so I have all 3. They get so many compliments I can wear this ring everyday to work (I like to look at it while I’m typing away lol), wear it out casual on weekends and to go out in the evening. Highly recommend this piece to anyone eyeing it up. Can I ask what shade paint that is in the hallway? It’s such a lovely tone.

After a reno, dust will continue to fall and settle for like 3 weeks... sometimes longer! It's an absolute pain in the ass, happened to me. But it will stop soon enough! X
