Never seen this movie but I am liking it so far, Daria's voice is beatuiful. Though this does remind me a bit of Quest For Camelot animation wise sort of. Thanks for posting!
You know, unlike in cinderella, you really get a sense of how hard this girl's working and how unfortunate she is yet still having wild dreams. With Cinderella, it feels like she has a lot of free time on her hands despite getting yelled at a lot. Not that I hate Cinderella, it's just that it seems better portrayed here.
Daria got that classic Disney princess thing down to a tee or shall I say a pea?lol Even though she isn't Disney this could have been a Disney movie that would have fit well into the Disney renaissance.
All of Daria's physical details were written down when she was an infant. Now, while an infant's hair and eye color will usually change a bit it still doesn't change quite THAT drastically. How did no one notice this? xD
okay, so she sleeps on the ground full of rocks with only feathers as a bed, but she can't sleep on 20 mattresses with a single pea under it? i know its a fairytale, but come on!!!
I know. The whole time I was wondering how Heath missed the fact that Hyldagard looked just like a thinner version of Helsa, and acted like her and Laird too.
I like this movie, but Daria is a little bland! She should have some rebelliousness in her, rather than being a doormat who just wants everyone to be happy!
You know what I just realized? Heath named his daughter long before laird arrived. Which means that Daria's name should actually be Hildegarde. So...what was Hildegarde's original name?
i like daria, but....that's kind of it, unfortuantely. there's not much mroe merit to this movie other than her. i wish they'd put some more thought into it, because the actual roots of the fairy tale have so little to do with the final product.
OK, EPIC FAIL! The hell is wrong with these people?! Baby Daria had GREEN EYES, Heath! YOUR f*cking GREEN EYES! ARE YOU PEOPLE BLIND?! D8 I like Daria though. The "miller's son" is part of her plan, but not the only part. They don't totally disregard the fact that she'd like to get married and believes in love until she meets her love interest, but they don't make it the entire point of her character. She wants to see the world, and hopes to find happiness on the way.
this movie is pretty... eh... it had so much potential but... they just fell flat on some of the character designs, the story, the writing, and the songs and honestly at times it can be a bit annoying.
its a shame the princess is not that pretty -__- and this is just toooo much like cinderella I think i would have ran away =/ and these to much singing
"Sometimes you act like my mother".
Wait a few days, Hildegarde. Wait a few days
Anyone ever wish that you could live in that time? Because the men were kinder, families actually mattered, and there's no easy way to do things.

"I think I feel a tiny rumble!" xD
I was thinking the exact same thing!! Especially when I look at Heath and at the beginning with the pony. Lol

I love it when badguys are mocked, like when the painter mocked Hildegarde. XD

Didn't Heath ever wonder WHY his "daughter" looks absolutely NOTHING like him or his wife, and JUST like her ACTUAL parents?!?!
You've got a point. Although, I do appriciate the way they wanted to go with it. It's still a pretty good movie though.
I know, I have the feeling I've heard that sog before. The melody sounds so familiar.
unpopular opinion: Hildegarde is so iconic
Very cool animated.

Daria's design her face mostly, reminds me so much of thumbelina

Maybe Heath was too grief-stricken over the loss of his wife to name his daughter right away, and Helsa asked to name his 'daughter' for him?
@@MWolfL thought the same. He definitely would call her Marianna if not Helsa
Hey..bird?...uh, I don't want to hear about science on Saturday night. So...yeah...
1:21 What the heck is the saying? Can't understand what she says.
actually she`s really pretty
At least he promised not to hurt her...
Aurora was hidden for a reason, so that Maleficent won't find her and make her curse come true.
I like this movie but not too much ; (
which version is this?
She's an animated heroine, their lips always look like they're wearing lipstick
Does anyone know what song she is sing and who it is sing 2.22 ?
Standard issue for fairy tale heroines. Part of the union rules.
04:42 Her statue looks like the Grinch.
Families were not treated that well! Children were abandoned, killed or sold and women were seen as things to be owned not people with feelings!
Daria is ok pretty
She kind of resembles thumbelia

She sounds like cinderella a little bit :/
and I see your gayness continues
