    It’s NOT G “IV” SP. It is the Roman Numeral depiction, G4 SP.

      Just call it a G4 or a G450 would have been a more accurate description of what it is "replacing".

      To be Precise (accurate as you say) although similar, there are significant differences between a G4, G4SP and the G450. Each have different airframes which makes a tremendous difference for the guys that turn right when entering the cabin.
      When buying a used aircraft, the differences drive cost up or down especially with respect to options, AD's, avionics suite, min/max takeoff and landing weights, pax and range but especially maintenance costs (inspections, hot section life...) and the list goes on.
      The guys that turn left when entering the aircraft will tell you how significant the differences between the aircraft are.
      The G400 Really can't be compared to Any of the aircraft cited Except for physical dimension.
      Nothing more.

      @@callmewheels4806 The place in the market is what I was referring to. GIV-SP is just a GIV with an ASC. G450 is basically a GIV with EECs and Plain view. And let's not forget about the original G400 which has been around forever.

    Between the Embraer Praetor 500 and this Gulfstream G400, I go back and forth; but the interior (and cabin height) of the Gulfstream gives it a slight nod.

      The Praetor 500 is a completely different class. It is a rather small 6 passenger midsize jet for 18 million , whereas the G400 is a large jet for to 12 passengers like the Challenger 650 and costs 35 million.

    The performance , interior and specs are a near match to the Falcon 2000LXS, which came out 12 years ago…🙄🤦🏽‍♂️
