Not only are we told to have all these material things, on first dates we men are told to have something to sell: the ‘paradise’, the castle, the car, the 7-figure annual salary, the annual holiday in golden sands, the expensive weekend break in a ‘romantic’ city, and we have to strive endlessly to achieve those golden goals of heightened perfection. I become a Bisy Backson! 😂 Although that might sound nice, not any more. I might still get to these, but I want to enjoy my life now. be happy now, during the process. 😁

It’s funny you should mention being like a Ferrari in reverse. Until today, I always pictured myself as a Ferrari always marrying Honda Civics, having to stay on first gear because the men in my life were moving so slowly, not desiring to grow spiritually or emotionally. You have changed my perception! I’m going to step in the pedal starting today!

What a fantastic video! You hit a point for me when you talked about someone admitting what they done- do you remember? I imagined a situation when my sisters come on their knees admitting what they have done and begging for forgiveness. The image set me free from my prison but I struggle to find the core belief 😕

I can see my pendulum now, living nearly on the streets, simple, cheap, finding my integrity without comparing or other people interfering. Another part wants to live in a different part of the country in a place where I have a house, pool, sauna, spa, marine life, community...and my lifestyle brought me there without the trimmings and wants to go back with trimmings. I am a ferrari and when I hear that i want the trimmings, I want to be my full potential and enjoy lifes pleasures without feeling like Im raising the bar all the time. If I dont raise it slightly Id be living in a van forever always chasing my next government payment. I want to feel good about wanting good fun pleasurable things and feel good about money
Hi Aaron - great questions! Green-light feelings = positive/pleasant feelings and emotions (eg. joy, happiness, calm, love etc.). Red-light feelings = negative/uncomfortable feelings and emotions (anger, jealousy, fear, anxiety etc). When you are in your 'wu wei' flow you will experience green-light feelings - these feelings and sensations are the signposts that tell you when your energy is in balance. Hi David you and Alex are using the term human centred mind but you later teaching its the inner child you are referring too. Utopia world fantasy world wanting certainty and knowing whats ahead perfection thats coming from Inner child not adult shen side as much. Unrealistic thinking extreme standards comes from IC, the adult shen side or human centred mind is more balanced realistic is not black and white thinking or one way at looking at things 🙂
