I had a very disappointing experience with David Weekley Homes. Brandon Marshall, Lexi Mitchell, and the rest of the team demonstrated unprofessional behavior. Once they sold the house, they seemed to lose all interest and stopped caring about any issues that arose. Despite my attempts to contact Brandon Marshall through emails, messages, and other forms of communication, he never responded. This lack of communication made me question if this type of behavior is representative of the overall culture at David Weekley Homes. To make matters worse, when we moved into the house, it was dirty. Their explanation was that the house would get dirty within a week, so we should start cleaning it immediately. This was incredibly frustrating since we expected to move into a brand-new home. When we raised our concerns, they began avoiding the issues altogether. As a form of punishment, they even neglected to provide us with the welcome gifts that are typically given by other builders. The quality of the wood items in the house was extremely poor, with many of them having subpar finishing or being broken. We requested replacements, but they only applied paint as a makeshift solution. The car garage and patio were also done very poorly, with the excuse that they are supposed to be that way. I have a long list of grievances, and I am truly disappointed with my experience.
I’m would like to know which community you built your home. I’m struggling to find a home builder that is trustworthy. I’ve been looking into David weekly homes but now not to sure what to do.
