Just don't get sick or end up jobless in America without having someone or something to fall back on. That's the sort of thing that'll make you homeless.

I wouldn’t necessarily say that. There’s plenty of social services here. The issue is that the bare minimum is done to assist people in accessing them.
I’m not sure telling people that being jobless is a death sentence is helping people find those recourses though.

    1. America is almost exactly like that in most areas. You can tell the spy, the amount of spirit Halloween stores.
    2. Yep true. Different issues in America
    3. Wish we had those small cars in America.
    8. Healthcare
But anyway, wish you luck immigrating here

If you come to America through the right channels and do it the right way there are people who will hire you for who you are.these things that are streaming across the southern border do not want to fit in, but I think you will fit in very well as you are going about things in the appropriate manor and the right way. Good for you hope you make a good life for yourself and your family. Enjoy what the country will have to show you enjoy some good southern food.

Welcome to the US! Make sure to visit our national parks, especially Glacier National Park up in Montana. Another benefit to moving here is that we Americans automatically associate british accents with sophistication. Also go to waffle house lol.

It's such a shame Weymouth is so neglected. I know nothing about the place aside what you said - the only time I've ever been there was when I went to a Haven holiday park and it was pretty nice lol

Yeah cause the NHS is so helpful and such a great thing isn't it? 6 to 12 month wait on emergencies. Illegals who can't speak English getting bumped to the front. Waiting times being hours and hours and hours. Not being seen unless you have the Fauci Ouchie, yeah, the UK Healthcare system is amazing 🙄

I wouldn't say anti-immigrant. Some of my favorite people are first generation immigrants, even ones that aren't learning English have been fine as long as they use a translator and have patience.
Keep it legal, keep it safe, and make an effort on life and you won't be judged. All I can really say on that matter

Personally, as a lifelong Brit, I'd never move anywhere outside anywhere I feel is even remotely "British", "Celtic", or "Gaelic" in my mind, those the UK, Ireland and Crown Dependencies. Regions of the world each have their own unique feel to me that I feel compatible or incompatible with, irrespective of social, economic, political or environmental situations, i.e. even if all the land north of France got decimated beyond repair in any way, I still won't move because the "feel" of the rest of the world would be incompatible with me.
OK, I think what I'm describing might be just secondhand homesickness from you moving to the US. I still feel it burning and screaming constantly at your decision regardless of legitimate reasons to leave the UK, of which I'm sure there are plenty.

You're probably already in America. Good luck not finding sugar, corn syrup, potato starch, and whatever artificial flavoring we put in our food here. The air we breathe is full of that anyhow. If it were up to me, I'd be a shopkeeper on an express train... in space.

I'm afraid no matter where you go you will run into boneheaded morons, as I have noticed in a number of places around the world.
The upside is that you will find wonderful folks as well. In some places finding them takes a little longer.

Well TBH, least you are a migrating from a westerner country and not a Muslim Artemus. So migrating to US isn’t that much hard in comparison to the opposite. And for both our sake since there Australian currency is the dollar, I hope Kamala Harris becomes president. Besides, the only thing that is worth visiting in England are Stone Henge, the soccer, Diddy Squat Farm and a very few landmarks in London. Where US has more things worth going to. I wish you luck over there in US. I’m going to miss watching you every Saturday but least in the next season, Duke would be a permanent character in your videos.

Good thing about America is it has really great food, there is a furry convention almost every month. Downside, things are really expensive here, and there is always a conflict in the political climate. America is a good place if you work hard you will be pretty successful, i’v worked the same job for over 17 years now, with good benefits. I wish you a safe trip and all the best in your new home in America.
