Wait, how is it that these teams are very similar when the complaint about OSU against Michigan is that OSU tried to play to how Michigan plays to beat them at their own game and Tenn has similaries to Michigan?
It wasn’t that Ohio State couldn’t run the ball. This was well known by real ball knowers. They tried to run at the interior and couldn’t because Michigan has 2 tremendous defensive tackles. They had way more success running outside. That game was simply Ryan Day being stubborn.

The similarities are there I’m simply saying you guys need to stop relying on the Michigan like that was the be all end all that Ohio State can’t run the ball. Don’t rely on that game as a strength for Tennessee. You guys have good edges but Michigans interior is probably the best in the country. If there are any similarities it would be you guys to Penn State. But with a better offense. Will not be easy for Ohio State.

@ If I’m being completely honest it’s a combination of both. Edge wise Penn State but I’m not ready to say interior is Michigan level. It’s that simple. I need to see this James pierce edge and how he does compared to Abdul carter for Penn State.

These teams are Not Mirrors of each other. And Tennessee is definitely not built like the Wolverines! They play like Penn st on D. They have good interior guys but the stars are on the Edge! OSUs offense is best defending the elite edge rushers. OSUs best OL are the OTs.. Tennessee does not want to get into a shootout. They wanna milk clock an run ball. OSUs D only gave up One 100 yrd rusher an that was to Oregon!! So we will see.
