"If parents taught their children right" South Korean work culture demands that the workers prioritize job over family in all aspects. It is demanded and expected even by social standards. And guess what? People comply, because otherwise you'll be replaced and you won't be able to support your family, and the children will be bullied because they are from a poor family. It's not just parent's fault, it's the whole system that's built on the outdated approach to life management.

If a kid is too young to be held accountable, then it is reasonable to expect supervision by someone that can be held accountable at all times. As in the movie, the kids are too young so charge the parents with negligence leading to death.
Same goes for the young, the ill and the broken; if you cannot be held legally accountable, then society does not trust you and you need to be kept seperate, wrong doing or no.

In my country, those who did crime either go to juvenile school. If the crime is heavy, they will go to the juvenile school until 17 or 18 then they will serve their sentence on prison. Of course, they will have hearing on court so whether they will stay in prison or juvenile school is also on court. I think this a good way. The juvenile school is quite strict as the warden is either a retired soldier or retired policemen but they also let the parents visit so it's just like a boarding school but more strict and maybe they will need to visit court from time to time.

    1. Movies and television is fiction. They write stories to invoke emotion and get the viewer to continue watching.
    2. The reality is, when it comes to violent crime, the law is always much more strict. This story would never happen. The problems with the law are usually with non violent crime and first time offenders.

Movies like this are made to critique reality. Since its about juvenile law then it means what the movie says has some truth to it.

1:08 ahhh classic pranksters, playing tricks on their friend that happens to be a girl they happen to get drunk! I bet she woke up laughing, knowing her friends were such pranksters playing tricks on her!
No, Censorship has gotten so out of hand on TH-cam that do a lot of people sheltered they don’t even know what reality is! Wonder why becoming an adult is so hard all of a sudden, why people are cruel, evil, mean all because they misgendered them! But I get it it TH-cam investigator to advertise your friendly content! The world is a dark Place, can’t push an advert on gambling sites, alcohol, Shiemu, TEMU or any other garbage if a movie or series happened to slightly resemble reality! That or breaks down the narrative of a strong, independent woman that doesn’t need a man! Both are equally scary!
Anyways, Keep these recaps coming, especially far eastern movies/series!
