Looks like a abandoned nursery! Old strike points on the trees everywhere, flattened ground, pushed over shelter and by my quick watch a couple of scouts. Cool video would be interesting to see the area now!
No it’s actually deep in the rainforest on top of a mountain in Springbrook Queensland. That top of the mountain took us three & a half hours to reach the top. All bush up there. No people, no properties, nothing. All off track deep in the rainforest. We got lost coming back that night when lightning & heavy rain hit from no where? A yowie was following us in the storm trying to find our way back. Very interesting location. My recording skills wasn’t the best back then with older GoPro

I don't think you would of got within 5km of the location without being politely turned back towards your vehicle.

At 1:31 there's a perfectly clear image of a Yowie crouching between two trees. In front of the Yowie standing on a log is a juvenile Yowie. Beneath the log the Juvenile is standing on there's a female Yowie. Another major clue is the pareidolia that you see in the background. How in the hell did you miss all of this?

Jason, Hi--I like the effort you put out in the hunt. Unfortunately my eyes cannot follow the speed of the camera and I get these horrible headaches when I try and follow the video. The camera moves so fast left to right as if it's on a pendulum. Please don't kill the messenger because I'm telling you this. Maybe you could try and not be so speedy with panning left to right so very quickly because the second or two that the camera focuses on something before you zoom it away is when it seems as if there is something worth watching a longer time in those couple of frames. This constructive criticism so don't get peeved. Just try to look at it from our perspective, us folks who are trying to watch. It's just impossible to focus on anything when you zoom left to right so fast. Otherwise, thanks for your work out there and be safe !

imho since that area is thick with yowies you should slow down your panning so we can see them for more than 1 second and learn more about them . on the other hand this is really good work you have done here . thanks for all your effort so far .

Yeah I know. This was years ago in the Gold Coast Hinterland. I was still learning & understanding about GoPro moment. The GoPro was strapped to my Nike cap. I now understand you need to try & pan smoothly. It was a learning process. Hi Gracie, it's to the right in far background. I know it's a yowie as I have seen this type of movment before between trees. High speed & super man leaping from tree to tree. It is there you just have to really watch in the far background. Also in beginning of video left appears to be large dark figure near the tree.
Hi John, this was on top of a Mountain in Springbrook, Numinbah Valley, took three & a hours to get to. Then that night it thundered & lightning with heavy rains & we got lost for five hours. No way people would grow there. To hard to get to

Yeah! I use to have go pros or cameras strapped to my head years ago. I use to just move naturally. I found out that it makes the camera video all over the place. I have learnt over the years to move slower & pan smoother allowing for easier viewing. Also being able to see clearly what’s going on when filming 🎥

Sometimes you don't see them with the naked eye but the camera picks it up. They do blend in amazing.

Hi John, this was on top of a Mountain in Springbrook, Numinbah Valley, took three & a hours to get to. Then that night it thundered & lightning with heavy rains & we got lost for five hours. No way people would grow there. To hard to get to

How have I not seen this footage before? And what a huge unit he is !! Isn't it amazing how they just know that the human eye will only reach so far and they just mould into the background until you see them on the camera footage, I believe that they use the change of vibrational levels for cloaking in certain situations too...

Very hard to see with the affect of the lens, but can definitely see something there at 1:00-1:02 & the one moving between the trees, good catch

But yes there is a image of something dark & big on left has side near the tree. On the right I believe a Yowie is superman jumping between two trees. It’s very small & fast to see but if you know what your looking for you will see it 👍

the gopro messed me up
Yeah! I use to have go pros or cameras strapped to my head years ago. I use to just move naturally. I found out that it makes the camera video all over the place. I have learnt over the years to move slower & pan smoother allowing for easier viewing. Also being able to see clearly what’s going on when filming 🎥
