Sheldon would have been a great lawyer, he has the mind and the ambition a good lawyer requires. He would have passed the bar easily, used his skills to win the most bizarre cases and used all that money he made in court to fund his science carrer more easily than always waiting for others to give him funding:
I think it's a bit weird to say something like that, when in this very scene ,the first time he appears before a court he is sent to JAIL!! Sheldon could never be a lawyer, just learning the law by heart doesn't make you a lawyer, far from it. Law is anything but perfection, many times you need to get tricky, crafty, cunning, anything but going by the book, you need to find solutions, not only know the fine letters by heart but to find the correct fine letters for each situation, read it correctly and convince others that you did. You need to be a people's person, convince the jury and the judges. You also need to convince your client, know how to talk to him (many times under stressful and uncomfortable conditions) and represent him. You need to know to present your case touching the correct points at the correct time. Sheldon could be at best a contract lawyer, but generally he would be the worst lawyer, he can't even talk to his dean without getting in troubles, let alone with a judge. He actually doesn't understand the law at all, he could know a lot about it, no doubt, maybe more than most people, but he will never actually understand it. Photographic memory, yes, but he is not Mike Ross, never will be, he just lacks the skills.
Being a lawyer is way too ambiguous and requires good people skills. It is well established that the Cooper family is genetically disadvantaged when it comes to being a lawyer. Georgie tried to be his own lawyer at age 19 but ended up in jail for urinating in a phone booth (maybe Georgie got drunk after his father's death and slipped up).

I was hoping that part was in this video, but it's not! Oh well. Gotta find it elsewhere.
I was also kind of hoping that his "That's my spot" would have been met with stone cold silent glares, like it probably would in real life!
@@shadowoflugia Or worse. But this was probably just a holding cell and the worst of the worst were not being held there.
Funny thing is if he hadn’t have insulted the judge he would’ve had a chance of meeting Stan Lee once they were out of court cause they could’ve gone to the comic book store after all this.
Isn't the judge Stan Lee's writing partner?
@@hannahbaker6617 I think that's just a reference
He actually met him, but not the fancy way with the bunch of chaps...
"thats my spot" this was one of the best scene which i remember even now
That’s my spot. 😂😂😂
Then he turns to the biggest, scariest guy in the cell and says, "That's my spot"🤣🤣🤣Yeah well, Penny's lack of respect for society may border on the sociopathic but his astonishing social ineptitude is dead-on suicidal!
"I am following the law, I am ignoring you!" Wonderful, and fully deserved.
Impressive.. guilty.😃😃
2:38 Penny's expressions
Sheldon remembers the event, points out Penny's picture in the passenger seat, her car and license plate...
And Penny still thinks she can get away with: "No it isn't"....
😂 Penny just because you're dumb it doesn't mean that everyone else is.
Whoever played the judge in this episode did a GREAT JOB !!!!!
I loved the part when Sheldon calls the guard and asks to go to the rest room. The guard points at the urinal in the cell and says "knock yourself out!" 😃😃😃
She squeaked😂
It wasn't Sheldon's fault. It was because of Penny's lack of adhesive ducks.
Nah man. Sheldon has no sense of empathy whatsoever.
I AM A SCIENTIST I NEVER APOLOGIES FOR THE TRUTH, the line that sent a lot of smartest peoples in human history to hell
😂😂😂 at the sound of cell door slamming shut
This is one of the times we're being smarter then the other person is a bad thing 😆
Well, at least he saw his "spot" even in jail. 😂
This reminds me Newman and Kerman in court 😂
you gotta love how sheldon stupidly thinks that just because hes right hes going to win
funny in a comedy, but sad if in reality - justice is manipuated to judge's personal preference.
@@anais4766In reality they would have had an actual hearing with presentation of evidence and witnesses. So this scenario wouldn't have happened.
I was expecting that's my spot, and still, when it came, I lol'd
That would imply I’m guilty!
You are guilty!
Law and order noise
Lol
Next time don't fade out on the funniest moment so soon. Would be much better to do it after the laugher finishes
Maybe a copyright limit?
@@victort.4798 i think low data
agreed
Howard called it 🤣
That's the day Sheldon felt up Penny!
He also sang “Soft Kiddie” Lol
“Is that my arm?”
“Doesn’t feel like an arm.”
“Then why don’t you let it go….”
@@patrickgray5633 it's "Soft Kitty"
And yet you wound up in traffic court😅
Sheldon should have a spin-off with Saul , better call cooper
Penny does make an excellent point...........NO IT ISN'T.😂🤣
Should of just said it was a medical emergency.
*should have (should've)
'Of' is a preposition, not a verb.
He did, the judge just ignored him.
Max Hess that kind of emergency doesn't mean you can break traffic laws
You cant. Cause the judge would ask "why didn you call 911 or an ambulance?"
Sheldon's biggest crime, not knowing when to shut up lol
idk whether the worst or best part is that if Sheldon wasn’t so condescending they wouldn’t throw him in jail 😭😭😭
For someone as smart as Sheldon, it’s incredible that he doesn’t take into account the possible retaliation of those he insults 🙄
No matter the academics, he could be so dumb about some things
He has trouble understanding social situations.
@@timkumpost6036 No he understands. , He insults , belittles others knowing it will hurt, get them. It's all evident in the show
This show placates the false egos of male and females. That's it's lure
@@vijayvijay4123 But what he doesn't understand is that it's not wise to insult a judge in his courtroom when you're the defendant.
Sheldon would have been a great lawyer, he has the mind and the ambition a good lawyer requires. He would have passed the bar easily, used his skills to win the most bizarre cases and used all that money he made in court to fund his science carrer more easily than always waiting for others to give him funding:
I disagree. He cant handle losing. At his first case losing he would throw a fit and find himself in contempt of court.
Sheldon lack of socials skills don´t suit him in any profession but his actual one, despite having the knowledge.
Raj's sister says otherwise
"he did what he always does, but this time with a judge" 😂
I love how Raj had the Law & Order transition. I used to think it was the sound of a jail cell door in Riker's Island jail, but it turns out it is many many things.
Sheldon gets put in the cell, then he turns to the 3 guys
and tells the black guy "that's my spot" 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
" Thats mine spot at the end " HAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAH
Accuser is NOT THE 📷 CAMERA
State is the accuser and it's using camera evidence to accuse Sheldon
But there's no one representing the state.
Unless there's a cop somewhere off-screen.
@@iRazenrak The camera is the State's eye so there's no need for representation.
@@darkmagician2521 - prove to me that the state exists.
@@iRazenrakin real life they would have been able to present evidence and witnesses, so someone would be brought in to verify that the cameras were working properly.
@@JanBruunAndersen The constitution has an admissions clause to bring states into the union. Once they have a constitution they can pass statutes. Those statutes are enforceable in the name of the state.
Too bad he didn't get judge Caprio he probably would've gotten off with a cheap fine or nothing at all xD
Sheldon being Sheldon in-front of a judge.
I live in the Cayman Islands, insurance is expensive as hell. Tf she talkin bout?
The funniest part about this clip is:
There's currently a "Cov!d 19" disclaimer warning from YT under it.
In Feb 2023.
Under a video that does not mention it, or hint about it, or have anything at all in the world to do with it.
Oh my goodness, Sheldon is a Sovereign Citizen!
Sovereign Citizens don’t recognize our federal government
While funny, Sheldon brought up some pretty accurate legal arguments. The judge didn’t articulate any of the reasons why the arguments didn’t hold up. Nitpicky yes, but I’d like to know why.
Yeah, well insult the judge and see where that gets you.
