We need more pastors like you to speak the truth in love. Harsh teaching but full of truth!!! Seems some pastors rather keep quiet in order to keep members. But I appreciate the truth.
Amen and true. We are in the UK and in 2021 our BBC yesterday interviewed on live TV a "gay" Vicar, a man who is in the pulpit weekly and yet isnt interested in females. We need more teaching of this level and yet in the UK we dont preach like this because "we" (those in the pulpit) dont want to offend the listener!

This was powerful! I’ve been speaking to myself regarding my change in attitude toward the LGBT community because of how it’s being thrown in our face and how the children are being attacked and the Lord made me realize that their actions is a sin just as when I sin and am a Child of God, well He loves them. God never said hate the person, He said hate the sin. I started listening to your teaching of Romans tonight and It looks like I’ll be up all night, thank you for speaking truth without sugar coating anything. I appreciate that! Continue to let the Holy Spirit speak through you!

I have just begun studying the Bible. I am beginning with Romans because of a friend’s recommendation. It’s funny, all my life when I look at all the beautiful places on this planet and the sky the first thing that pops in my mind is God. My breath gets taken away and I am left awestruck. But, still I have denied His existence even when its proof is laid plain before me and the awe I feel in my heart.
I love the intensity Pastor Paul brought to this. Regretfully, many of the points he made have come more to light in the five years since it was posted

I sometimes wonder if I’m luckier to be a online viewer of Calvary Chapel than an in person one. I have the benefit of watching Pastor Paul’s sermons anytime anywhere and I can pause, rewind. I’m unsure if his in person audience watch his videos (I assume usually not). I’m so happy I found his channel. I’ve grown so much and God had changed me. God makes me happy and pastors videos always encourage me. 😊
I don’t attend church traditionally (on Sunday’s in person) because of life circumstances, but I get to watch these videos. I feel as if I’m apart of this church but in the online community kind of way! -just wanted to share 😊

We have struggles in the flesh...place your life under the power and love of Christ! I myself battled and since I am still in this imperfect flesh I do understand temptations. But with the Holy Spirit's power in me, He continually change my desire...Trust your everything to Him!!!😊

Powerfull how you touch upon the fact that christians can be lured into a discussion about how someone was 'born' a certain way, when it comes to LGBTQ or whatnot. I heard a pastor reply to that with: "You may be born that way, sure, and that is why scripture says you need to be born again."
When it comes to someone saying I was born that way: genetics should not be equated with morals or have a leading role in ethics: When a lot of people are born with an uncontrollable urge to kill, or that certain DNA can be located that is responsible for this behavior, doesn't automatically make killing okay, nor does it lead to murder being the norm of society.

I noticed some sermons have transcripts and some do not. It is very helpful so when you can, please do so. I understand it takes extra time and is not always feasible but just letting you know, the ones that have transcripts, I really appreciate it. I have difficulty with understanding completely if I can't see it as well (extreme visual learner) Also your notes and slides are extremely helpful as well. Wish I could like this video 10 times! I'm very very passionate myself, when it comes to disproving evolution, and that intricate design must have a designer! Chaos does not create sophisticated order! I've lived in NYC for 8 years, and got into many debates about this subject! Those people are so reliant on secular pseudoscience, and believe that anyone with contrary beliefs is an idiot! So prideful and willfully ignorant
