"It's a fee, it's a fee nothing more" *ominous music starts* "Gentlemen, I have sent you several notes of the most amiable nature, dealing how my theater, oh wait wrong musical"
My favourite performers in this version are definitiely the "villains"; Caiaphas and Pilate. Though Pilate is very conflicted, and Caiaphas even has some sympathetic/justified tropes.
@@oog2370 Antagonist might be the better word at first, but he does indeed become sympathetic as he realizes Jesus is blameless and is being used by his enemies
Right? Especially on a section where he doesn't have to harmonise with the backing track at all. "In Tune" is already very subjective for that really bad line, so autotuning it makes no sense.
It's pf course a shame but the gravely and high nature esepecially for a male voice can be really hard so i think they autotuned it so he could vocally support/Survive each performance
@@mrflibble5203 It's not even that, this was one of this first performances after rehearsals, it was never autotuned during any performances and was only autotuned in post for the DVD.
hi! I think The Last Supper got deleted from your account and I can't find that version anywhere else - is there any chance you still have it or know where to find it?

Please can you explain I don’t get it

Owen Jarvis Jesus got crucified. That means nailed to a cross.
Friend: what’s your sexual preference?
Me: Do you know the guitar Riff at the start of Damned for all time from Jesus Christ superstar?
Underrated comment right here lmfao
HAHAH love this!
Imagine making a really tough moral decision and then hearing a chorus sarcastically telling you what a good job you did.
That guitar at the beginning 😍

i fucking love his(minchin) voice
The voices and the guitars are spectaculars
Quick summary of this entire version of this musical -
Sound engineer: so how much autotune do you
Producers: yes
I know its disgusting, ruin the whole thing in my opinion
Yeah, Tim Minchin was really unhappy about that.
@@zebrafish7267 don't blame him, the guy's got a damn good voice
Where's the autotune I don't hear it
AMAZING audio quality!
I know right?!
It's a Rock Opera, why the hell would you use auto tune? it's supposed to be kinda rough. Tim's so talented, such a shame.

Where's the autotune he sounds perfect and it doesn't sound like his voice was altered at all

That riff sounds kinda like Batman 60's theme
Someone else hears it thank god XD
yep
We watched this in drama class between 2013-2014 and someone said that 😂
Thanks for uploading this I love it! I was wondering do you have 'The Last Supper' at all as it's the only one missing?
Sounds like the Batman intro, and in my head, only nanannaanna Judas comes
When Judas says "the garden of Gethsemane" the autotune is so obvious and it really makes it sound awful, can't get why they did that
Right? I saw the live version in Australia and Tim Minchin's voice was fine. Maybe not always perfectly in tune, but always close.
Anatole is Hot the autotuned everyone because melanie couldn't fit her voice to match mary's
Tim Minchin was not consulted about the auto tune and was reportedly furious about it
Nananananananana Batman
I really like the guy playing Annas. His voice is rich and unique. Quality.
This is great
