पूरे भारत में अब शहर के मुख्य रेस्तरां में सब एक जैसा ही खाना मिलता है,जो शहर के पुराने इलाकों में जाकर वहां का फ़ूड ढूंढे उनको ही लोकल खाना मिलेगा। कुछ समय बाद शायद पुराने शहरों में भी मिलना बंद हो जाएगा। खाने पर जो "सांस्कृतिक हमला" है बहुत तेज है।पूरे पहाड़ में टूरिस्ट मैगी खा रहे हैं। कुछ दिन में मोमोज,बर्गर,फ्राइड राइस खाने लगेंगे। जो भी मेडिसिनल प्रोपर्टीज वाले लोकल फ़ूड आदि हैं इनको एक दो पीढ़ी बाद ढूंढना मुश्किल हो जाएगा। शायद अब हमको इसका भी एक जीन बैंक,सीड बैंक बनाकर संरक्षित करने की जरूरत है। "जो समाज अपनी संस्कृति की अतिक्रमण से रक्षा नहीं कर पाते,ओ नस्ट हो जाते है।" और अब ये आक्रमण कई दिशा से कई क्षेत्र में है।

Pinaloo will not cause itching like arbi does, most of the time. Try steamed or boiled pinaloo with garlic or dhania flavored pahadi salt. This combination is yummy. We can just dry masala pinaloo with jakhia(type of seeds) baghar. Pinaloo saag with mattha is also very tasty either try it with baghar chaanch or mattha cooked in sabji with coriander seed baghar.
Waw sir jo bhi khana aapne bataya yeh sab khaye hue bhut saal ho gye ab sirf mandue ki roti hi khane ko milti hai gaw me.... Pinalu arbi ki hi ek species hai... Bichhu ghass se bachpan me padai krte samay bhut jyada mar khayi hai yeh chitti ke dank se khatarnak hoti hai.....

Pinalo is pahadi verson of arbi can se. Gadheri bdi hoti red in colour inside.. pinalo is white inside and more chipchipa. Pinalu ki taseer thandi hoti where as gadheri ki garam. Gadheri ka size 5 kg tk wi ho skta jbki pinalo 100-300gm. When u peel off skin and cut into peices then which ome red inside is gadheri and which is white inside is pinalu. But differ in size and taste. Arbi can be grown in plains but gaderi and pinalo cant. These are can say pahadi version and pure version of arbi... Gadheri ka saag ki a local delicacy ogf uttrakhand. We love it too much due to its mouth melting texture..u missed its veg. While in uttrakhand...

Pinaloo will not cause itching like arbi does, most of the time. Try steamed or boiled pinaloo with garlic or dhania flavored pahadi salt. This combination is yummy.
We can just dry masala pinaloo with jakhia(type of seeds) baghar.
Pinaloo saag with mattha is also very tasty either try it with baghar chaanch or mattha cooked in sabji with coriander seed baghar.

Pinalo is pahadi verson of arbi can se. Gadheri bdi hoti red in colour inside.. pinalo is white inside and more chipchipa. Pinalu ki taseer thandi hoti where as gadheri ki garam. Gadheri ka size 5 kg tk wi ho skta jbki pinalo 100-300gm.
When u peel off skin and cut into peices then which ome red inside is gadheri and which is white inside is pinalu. But differ in size and taste. Arbi can be grown in plains but gaderi and pinalo cant. These are can say pahadi version and pure version of arbi...
Gadheri ka saag ki a local delicacy ogf uttrakhand. We love it too much due to its mouth melting texture..u missed its veg. While in uttrakhand...
