It seems that all of the farmers are poor. Kong made wrong decision on this property. I realize he didn't want to be isolated in the mountains, however he could try to cultivate crops only. The commute would be worth it twice a week. While living on a swamp, he can raise ducks or rice then he can tell TH-cam goodbye. His earnings are minimal and intrusion too much. .

Here we go again. More money problems. This is all a bunch of garbage. The creator/producers want the viewers to empty their pockets. That property is not theirs to sell, it's a filming set, they are the actors. Furthermore, in vietnam a child end lower secondary school at age 15. So, this trash is to get more sympathy, with "tears" to go with it. Sorry, I don't buy.

You know my daughter and I are planning to go there next summer we’re doing research and making calls to travel agencies to get a full understanding how safe it is … (you know I am going to that area )on a serious note I really fall in love with there Country and I have been watching videos about Vietnamese culture food attraction so far it’s a beautiful country with beautiful mountains and rivers and the people are very friendly The history of Vietnam is amazing for sure I am going next year ( my daughter’s friend her parents are Vietnamese they are giving me a real understanding of the country)

As a viewer of these channels, we must realize that to some degree we have contributed to the unpleasantness of these channels. When they were really "off grid" with simple basic lifestyle, some kept telling them to build this or that, buy this or that, sending gifts (fridge, sofa, stove, sink,sewing machine, money, etc to become more modern. While well meaning, unfortunately the owner of these channels (whoever they are) sees the door open to pray on our generosity, and as long as some fall for their scamming, they will continue on this path. Wouldn't you, if you were a scammer? They are not to be underestimated with their cunning "indirect" solicitations!! There is nothing pleasant anymore about this, so I get relief by going to Phan Phan.
The viewers created this begging frenzy by insisting Nhat is sick and needs money. The producers saw this as a good thing and ran with it! We know TH-cam pays but think about all the donations made by viewers.They got a lot of money. Wake up people, this is a scam and all the other channels are in on it. Next they have already started to gain your sympathy for the sister and baby, when they could have built her a house using the left over wood they all seem to have.
Well said!! Plus if he is not getting much, why do this almost 2 years now. It's all a lie. And you are right, a lot of money has been donated. But then, that's why we are now bombarded by every video. Those viewers, although we'll meaning, have basically opened the door to more sob stories for money.

He received the stove, refrigerator, motorbikes, beds, cookware , floorcovering, clothing and bedding as gifts from viewing donors. The money was forwarded to him by those viewers through paypal with notations of what he was supposed to purchase with their donations. He did NOT pay for them. Additional undesignated cash donations have also been sent. He told one viewer that he received approximately $500 USD per month from YT. Primary school fees average from $2.00 - 10.00 USD per month depending upon size and location of the schools. In addition, Vietnam government has supplemental assistance for medical care and medical insurance for low income families that financially qualify. If he is financially struggling, why did he only work one day on the construction site? Am I wrong in thinking that this heart wrenching video is an unspoken solicitation for more money from the viewers?@@karenpatrech4346
@@Aroundthecorner1727 i would just like to say that i personally know about the bike, refrigerator, etc . because myself and several other viewers bought these items....i sent the money to his brothers paypal account after discussing with the both of them how much a bike would cost..his bike was less than $300.00 usd dollars.. Kong posted the results of Nhat's test in an older video....myself and another viewer looked up the results and she has gallstones really bad and she has a genetic blood disease for which their is no cure....she is to have blood transfusions monthly. as to whether or not she received these transfusions i do not know. she is a very sick woman...i have not spoken to Kong since Christmas but have reached out to him after this video to try and get an update...as to not receiving you tube funds, he has told me in the past that he gets around $500 a month...personally i do not know if the videographer keeps any of the money. i hope this answers some questons....

If she was really sick and it was this big of a deal, you could get help from your brother. Agree! It's all bogus, and playing on people's kindness, hence the PayPal set up, and some believe so much, they send money. If you were a scammer and was so successful in swindling people, would you stop? So why should we think this will change on this and the other channels. 😮

Kong vlog has a lot of drama, to attract donations! They are the vloggers, they just hire video man and editor, it is their name registered an account in TH-cam, they received monthly pay from their vlog, depend on viewers and subscriber, so they make gimmick or dramas in their content to gain lot of viewers and donations!
When Kong was in the mountains I never got pop ups asking for donations but have gotten several in the past few weeks since Nhat been in that faked hospital. This tell me something had changed.
If their vlog content is about some improvement in their house or have some projects, they can afford to buy lots of materials,money comes out, but when sicked, they show that they are so pitiful and in misery 😭

From information I have gained from another Vlogger, the MONTHLY COST of SCHOOL FEES, WEEKLY BOARDING, FOOD and TEXTBOOKS, etc, is approx. 2,500,000 VND. That Vlogger supports his 2 younger Siblings to go to School ( they are Orphaned and live with their elderly Grandfather now) and it costs him 5,000,000 VND per month. Their School is 25 kms away from their Home, many Remote Village and Mountain Farmers send their Children to weekly Boarding Dormitories at the Schools, even from the age of 5.
Why boarding school. Not a public free school. Are they rich that they go to boarding school. Or maybe at the expense of the poor viewers who are being fooled

I don’t know the real problems of this family especially the real health issue of Kong’s wife. So I will only make my comments base on what I observe and perceive as the producer’s direction he is taking their channel for their video contents. No more farming and gardening, no more building or construction projects, I believe the producer is now resorting into poverty porn to gain support and more subscriber. Some are probably just staged for maximum effect. It’s very obvious.
