I just bent a few nails trying to fix my Lazy Boy Recliner ( LOL) & it worked . Really enjoy your adventures and your personality is fun to watch as you haggle (gently) with Sellers . Merry X-Mas Jessie
Jesse 4:41 Silver set, don't know silver contents but silver is all time high approx $ 32.00 ounce spot price Fyi. 6:24 Chinese chess it looks made of Lacquer? sewing machine p/u popularity since covic - prior 2020 was hard sell - you got good timing. AAA+++
If those Lemax pieces were priced good I probably would of taken them. I have some Carole Towne pieces up on eBay right now, and I would of passed on that P51 Phone, LOL! 5min later... Oh Damn that phone is big time, Wow! I would of never guessed. I guess that is why it's good to take a couple of min to research it on the spot.
Hahaha, I just listed a Samsung VCR & DVD Player DVD-V5650 4 Head VHS Player Fully Tested No Remote. I was gonna say, damn that looks like the one I just put up... too funny, lol. That old timer with the trains is a cool dude. I enjoy talking with him for a little when I'm at Columbus. He's a great guy!
I just saw those Laurel and Hardy figures are the 2Ave Thrift Store in Langhorne, PA last night, but I never thought to even look at them or ask how much they were asking for them. They were probablt asking way too much anyways... the couple of digital cameras they had were like $20 to $30 over eBay Sold Comps. I'm glad I got to see this video, now I know to BOLO for those.
Always buy old trains. I've been collecting trains since I was 8 years old. I'm 72 now. I have thousands of bucks in old trains. An old train lover will pay up for the old ones.
I know there are some serious collectors out there willing to pay some serious money for them. Sometimes, it is hard to make money on them (and I don't personally collect them). Thanks for the comment
@@TheVeteranFlipper awwww😂. I wish I had someone to help me. I would love to get started but I’m gonna wait for Christmas & New Year to settle down then I’m gonna try diving into reselling what I’ve bought up. No high dollar stuff for me though🤣
That place looked dead, even for this time of year. Not too long ago there wouldn't have been a single empty table at that place. I stopped going there about four years ago in favor of a couple of markets in a different direction. The occasional find didn't justify the drive anymore. Years ago it was good for sporting goods and antiques but its apparently gotten worse. Something I've run into lately is that the cost of gas to get there, and the lower prices things have been selling for in recent years, there simply isn't enough mark up on most items. If I can't double my money or better, its not worth the time and work. Other local fleamarkets are worse yet. Most markets are full of end sellers trying to get eBay prices or more. A lot of items that were a slam dunk in the past have also died. Big items like speakers, electronics, and small radios are hit and miss lately. I've had several 60's and 70's GE portable radios, even a few shortwave models listed for the better part of a year with no takers and not even a single look. Two years ago, eBay was booming, sales are off by 75% in recent months.
That place used to be a gold mine, but it started to die in around 2007 and never came back to the way it was. Smart phones didn't help much either, now sellers use eBay ads to set their pricing. Too many want full retail for everything these days, and too many are selling junk. I do better at the small town auctions in PA and DE but a ton of those have closed up in recent years. @@TheVeteranFlipper

Yes, what really makes these figures valuable is the colorway (what colors they are wearing). Some are more rare then others.

Your knowledge on finding items worth money just amazes me!!! Are we going to meet your fiancé one day & does she ever source with you?
She supports me emotionally lol and we talk about the finds! Lol

It is getting a little dead. I find some pretty nice finds there.
