68 Year Old Man's Amazing Parting Gift to the World - the Meaning of Life!!!

  • Paul and I were surprised at the positive reaction to our coffee garden chat about happiness, in which he stated that he could show people the nuts and bolts of how to be happy; a happiness toolbox, if you will. Thus, I contacted him in order to ascertain whether he would be interested in filming more content on happiness.
Paul has led quite an extraordinary life, full of tumultuous adventure, often living life on the edge in his personal quest to fully experience everything that life has to offer always. He thought he'd seen and done it all in his younger years and, thus retreated to a much simpler life in the suburbs..... BUT.... he always felt that he had one GREAT book in him but he didn't know what until recently. After much pondering due to the positive reaction, Paul is already writing said book and he wholeheartedly believes that this will be his 'parting' gift to the world in that the message will outlive both. It will be a guide (part interactive) on happiness, on how to begin to be happy. It will be accompanied by 5 or 6 videos, which I will upload on my channel over the coming months.
Today's video is an introduction to our future collaboration on a Guide to HAPPINESS.

Paul, I have been a practitioner of Buddhism for 20 ish years. Of course at the core is living in the "now"...I have lived in much anxiety on a daily basis fretting over the past and worrying about the future...always ending the day at some equilibrium via the Buddhist tools..However listening to your explanation...the Simple story of living in the "MOMENT" ahhh like a super epiphany..My living in the now was in my mind living in the Day (24hours)...2 hours of my mind wondering off (my monkey mind) then an hour or so bringing him back and settling him down. But changing the DAY to the MOMENT does not give my Monkey a chance to play havoc on my thoughts... The Now is not the 24hour day Its Simply This Moment! Paul, You Have a Gift..I hope you keep sharing your stories and mindset!!! Thank you!

This comment makes my heart sing on this hot and sultry morning here in Thailand! My original idea was to do a series of videos on happiness in general, but I'm pleased we got to do a couple. I concur that Paul does have a gift, in my opinion, particularly as to how he explains things. I am so very happy that this video has helped even one person even a little bit, but I'm even happier for you Parrish!! Have a wonderful day, wherever you may be, and watch out for that naughty little monkey.

My mother in law had 3 tooth left at 75 years old and she did just fine eating everything she wanted. We took her to the dentist and she got new dentures. She complained how tight they were and she rarely used them. Needless to say, it was a waste of money. She has passed on now a year ago at 85 and yes, she wore her dentures then in her coffin. RIP. Paul, you are fine the way you are, sir 💓👏

I watched it in 2 sittings, great thumbnail btw. In all honesty I already consider myself to be a happy man but I guess a happiness blueprint can only help in this day and age with all the complexities that have become part of our lives.
