Good video- Cost bumps up to a very high value, if you plan to buy a home in Silicon Valley. Cost will jump from $3000 to minimum $7 to $8k ( 3 BHK home) when you buy home .. With kids, cost will further add up on food, clothing, classes. You might save some here on eating out, or monthly $500 overnight outing (Read $6000 / year on vacations) could be reduced..

How much you get in-hand in the bay area. I know you cant share the exact value, u can give a range just to get an idea how much can one save after these expenses.

I think its dual income(his wife might also be working). So that needs to be kept in mind. Also he works in Faang and in bay area so his salary would also reflect that. If you work in a non-tech company(like say bank or something where IT is cost center) and that too in a mid tier city, it will cost much less but salary will also be less.

      LOL!
'Rich' is a weird term that has a different meaning for all. But more or less its about acquiring material wealth.
Financial freedom is the thing I would like to chase instead. And being financially free just by not spending is a thing that I have never heard of - especially here in the USA.
