The original of the song belongs to Harry Styles and is wonderful in its own right but you are spot on with your assessment that Jungkook´s rendition was immaculate.
His flawless perfect pitch, steadiness of delivery, gorgeousness of tone and timber, close to perfect English all aside, what makes his version that great is style of vocalization and emotive richness. A breathtaking cover.
To make a small suggestion, if you want some more of his English sung materials, I would lead you to one of my absolute favorites of his "Lost stars" ( original by Adame Levine) - a song made by a mature man who sings about his middle life crisis and struggling relationship and yet, JK absolutely killed it, making it his own and owning it at a tender age of 17. Insane talent his is. An another masterful piece ( R.I.P.) is a deleted snippet of his demo "Decalcomania" that JK made 4 years ago but decided to delete last year ( still searchable online and mourned by many).
"2YOU" by JB is pretty great too - a totally different take on the song but ridiculously fabulous. Emotions, emotions, emotions, Jungkook can smother you with truckloads of powerful and relatable emotions any time.
