Last season, the weakest area in the Liverpool team was the midfield and his presence has made them more dangerous going forward, as he's technical an engine, can create, produce excellent long shots combined with his defensive work. He has offered a different element in that midfield and he is seen as the next Steven Gerrard and there's a reason for that. His excellence at Liverpool is well documented as Dominik Szoboszlai is getting the praise that he deserves, a lot of people will look at the numbers and he does have a fair number of goals and assists, overall he has brought so much to the team and I always knew that he was a perfect fit for Jurgen Klopp's team and ok the stats aren't the most flashiest, but he's an elite midfielder. If Liverpool go on to win the premier league, since they have an advantage in the title race over Manchester City and Arsenal, most of it will be down to his performances.
