Another lovely lesson Clive. I watched this a few days back and went for a walk in the Wicklow Mountains. Photographed a large sycamore tree which I will endeavour to paint using what I’ve learnt from your lesson. Thanks for your continuing inspiration.

I used to bike ride or walk or horse ride up our local hill called Thornley Bank. It has Hazel nut trees half way up which Aunt Annie and I used to pick in autumn. It’s a very special hill with very special memories that takes you into the heart of the country between Highspen and Blaydon. With Norman’s Riding Hospital in between. Beautiful area and a long four hour walk up and down dale in large circle up Thornley and back through Lochaugh to Rowlands Gill. I’m hoping to move house soon and return home, to my family valley. Just like the movie How Green Was my Valley, with Roddy McDowell.

Sweet idea for a painting. You didn't tell us how old you were for your first kiss. I enjoy painting trees. We have many in Washington State.
I did mention I was 11 or 12 we grew up slower back in the day
