I was 14 when XY aired, and this theme is oddly nostalgic for me now lol. I wasn't a _huge_ fan of Pokemon before Generation 6, but since then I've been regularly keeping up with Anipoke to this day. XY and XY&Z are some of the best seasons to date!
I just realized that I was 14 as XYZ was airing. Right before I started 9th grade I started watching Pokemon from episode 1 of the first season. I had seen some Pokemon before but I wanted to truly watch the entire show from start to finish. To think I didn't even have a clue of what was currently happening in the current Pokemon series at the time. I heard that people really liked XY and XYZ but I was skeptical. It took 6 months to watch the entire show but I came out of it loving Pokemon XYZ and found it to be my favorite Pokemon series. I actually didn't expect to like it as much as I did and I kinda wish I watched the show as it aired on TV at the time.
I was still 12 when XY first came out. And that was the first time I ever got into Pokemon! This series was really a great way to introduce me to the franchise!

The finale for this show is still etched in my mind...this was the first anime tht I was there for from start to finish. Such a long journey. It still makes me nostalgic even after all these years.
I'm 30, and though this theme did not bring as much childhood nostalgia as the "Aim to be the Pokemon Master" theme does, but it DOES trigger lots of fun memories I once had with my University friends years ago.

I've seen like 200 animes already and Pokemon XY/Z are pretty dang good. I really do recommend it even to veteran weebs. XYZ especially, but XY is still as enjoyable.
Lol I'm so glad pokemon Journeys has been so great. So much more enjoyable than any pokemon adventure I have ever seen. I do miss characters like Serena and Clemont, but I have to say Ash is so mature and also not in the new Pokemon series. Plus he's catching a dream team of pokemon, Dragonite, Gengar, and Riolu.

I've seen like 200 animes already and Pokemon XY/Z are pretty dang good. I really do recommend it even to veteran weebs. XYZ especially, but XY is still as enjoyable.
Lol I'm so glad pokemon Journeys has been so great. So much more enjoyable than any pokemon adventure I have ever seen. I do miss characters like Serena and Clemont, but I have to say Ash is so mature and also not in the new Pokemon series. Plus he's catching a dream team of pokemon, Dragonite, Gengar, and Riolu.
