Its funny, I was listening to an interview from a few NASCAR drivers ( the vid was about 7-8 years old) about their experience seeing WoO sprint car racing for the first time live. They all said the same thing- "man, we think we crash hard, these guys get chucked and slammed around like ragdolls and jump right out!" Certainly shows how brutal the crashes can be.
Nope. It's a half-mile track with wide corners. They upgraded the place over the last 10 years. If you ever get a chance to get there don't pass it up. Place Is beautiful.
@@noahfetter7218 Lucky bastard! I'm in Jersey so it's about 3 hours for me. I make the Tuscarora 50 every year and try to get in at least 1 race besides that. It's amazing all the work they've done and the schedule they run is awesome.
@shitstorm They are some of the largest tracks that a lot of dirt series race on, so maybe stop being a naive little maggot and accept that you're not always right next time.
@shitstorm in new Zealand dirt track racing doesn't even have 1/2 miles a 3/4 mile us sort of big or average sorry a 1/2 miles is a big track to oval races in nz
@@johnstark4723 In dirt track racing, 1/2 mile isn't a short track no matter where you are at on Earth. It might be short for your area, but it's not a short track in dirt racing. Since moving back to Texas the racing is so bad though out the whole state, we might as well have all 1 mile tracks...... booooring...... The last time we had a pass at a dirt track here in Texas they called the cops for sexual misconduct. :)
Those 1/2 mile tracks are longer than hell in PA

Port royal is small?

@@josephbrown5460 I go there every other weekend I'm saying he put in a small track video when it's a 1/2 mile

Good video. Just a heads up. NO ONE watches these videos for the music. We all want live sound from the clip. Silence is better than music.
For the haters of Donny Schatz, he flipped in this video. I was fu*king frustrated when i seen it
knoxville is not a short track
Whats the flip at 1:40?
DO A BARREL ROLL...
Not bad, but it would be better with the actual sounds and no music
Imagine the sounds. Holy hell it would be amazing.
Wrong title but good video. Just an fyi.... 1/2 mile tracks are not short tracks in dirt track racing.

Around here 1/2 miles considered short track. Anything larger isn't. But then we have some 1 mile tracks too
