Personally I like this version more. To me, Nathan’s voice has more desperation in his tone. He’s not trying to sing as much, as he doesn’t do singing in the way Citizen Soldier does. The way he sings though has meaning, very somber and calming to hear.

Nathan is one of my favorite artists and its just upsetting to know that not many people have reacted to him on youtube yet, you are the only person ive seen. His voice brings out a bunch of different emotions and his songs are just amazing. highly recommend
I felt like his pacing was too fast for the message of the song to really hit as hard as the original. To me, that seems like a big difference between the two, when it comes to their emotional impact.
