  • On today’s episode, we chat with DJ Rock, the Former Assistant Director of Admissions for Multicultural Recruitment at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. DJ and I discuss what an MIT admissions officer really looks for in college applications and how students can gain that coveted acceptance. Along the way, DJ reveals priceless insight into the admissions process and breaks stereotypes about what makes a student a good fit for MIT.

Because SAT is not required for this academic session 2021-22, will MIT really give admission to students without SAT scores??

That is a good question. I see less admissions to MIT than Harvard and Stanford.

I don't think they meant in all colleges. MIT and many other engineering focused colleges are male dominated as compared more traditional colleges/universities.

@@jyotirmoykyasapura3132 it’s actually much closer than it should be, something like 55 / 45. If. Math SAT weight should arguably be much higher in a school like this-and if that were the case, would be more like 70 / 30 of higher. Larry Sommers got run out of the presidency for saying many more men are in the gifted category of math. It’s just a fact
