A man and his entire family are murdered by the Joker for daring to testify against a criminal, even though Joker didn't even know him or the criminal against whom he testified. In the Venom storyline, Doctor Randolph Porter staged his daughter’s kidnapping and murdered her to get a young Batman to feel guilty about not being able to save her. He then got Batman hooked on Venom and almost got him to kill Gordon for him. He literally turned Batman into a junkie! Bats locked himself away in the Batcave and went through hell to quit cold turkey. He also almost relapsed afterward, at one point. I would say that counts as a villain that broke the Bat.

In Armageddon 2001 (1991 release date) Batman fought with Guy Gardener and took his ring from him. The ring actually was absorbed onto his hand in the fight. He became a Green lantern before turning down the ring due to him fearing what he might become. He has also taken the ring off of Hal Jordon when they first met after New 52 reboot. And, in the Dark Knight Metal story he gets the ring after his parents are killed and used his will power then to over ride the rings programing so he could kill Joe Chill. All of these things are impossible to do for anyone without great will power. I don't think I have ever seen another story where the ring is removed without killing the wearer or at least cutting off their arm, hand or ring finger.

This list is kind of confusing in the sense that "broken" needs more context. Losing fights isn't going to break someone like Batman...he knows there are small number of people out there who can beat him physically, and he doesn't always expect to come out on top against opponents like Shiva, or Bronze Tiger. What I find more interesting about Batman is that he's constantly holding back against his opponents. Here they are going full tilt trying their best to kill him, and he's doing his best NOT to kill them. When you think about it like that, it kind of makes some of his opponents victories hollow.

No Talon/Court of Owls? They made Batman go crazy while trapped in a labyrinth in darkness for days without any food our water. He was ready to give up and accept his fate when they were beating him to death, but noticing a picture of his grandfather on a wall and realising that the court also killed him got him into rage mode which managed to get him to fight back and escape.
In the Injustice Universe, Daimaian Wayne. He threw a baton at Nightwing, thinking he'd dodge it. But Nightwing didn't notice it, was hit, fell onto a large rock and broke his neck. Daimaian tried to apologize, but was rejected. Bruce said that he had lost his son.
