Thank you for sharing. I always personally wanted to witness it. This is the closest I will ever come to experiencing this well known phenomenon of Kalk Bay's wall bashing waves.
Gordons Bay across the False Bay, Strand and Somerset West was Very Badly hit. Gordons Bay alone had more than a 100 power outages. All 3 Towns are Recovering but the Damages are going to take some to fix but so far not too bad. Somerset West Mall is Shut Down Completely due to Roof Damage. Lots of Tree Dibris alongside the Roads. The Roofs of many Houses Blown off. Walls around some houses blown over or broken by Fallen Trees. Citizens of all 3 towns say that this was not normal for them, even vetrens that have been in all 3 for Decades 50-60 years+ said that these Winds were Worse than decades before. All the Best. Stay Safe.
