@MultiMadDog420 no it is not hard. it does help if you have a 450 or bigger as it is easier to get going and on top of the sand easier and you can get up some of the big hills. just like motorcross you have to have the little 250 motor wound up to go. also the paddle tire does help a bunch over a standard dirt tire, have never tried some of the sand only knobbie tires yet maybe after this paddle is shot.
