April Fools will be coming out soon, so this is my April Fools project! While this project didn't turn out perfect, it still turned out to be an effective hidden camera. If you were making a hidden camera, where would you hide it?

Just the fact that you need to have a 3D printer, makes the cost skyrocket.
I'm sure you can find other ways to build a simple cylinder...
Purchasing 3D printed parts online isn't expensive. It's even cheaper if you have a local in library or maker space that'll do it for you.

Can I make a request? I’d like to get your thoughts on a civilian body camera and microphone. I feel in this day and age protecting yourself with recordings of your everyday interactions is more important than ever. Just like dashcams are becoming more and more popular for protection, I would think with the technology available this should be possible to build . It needs to be as small as possible, it does not necessarily need to be hidden but should be discrete and easily integrated into common clothing. The idea is that your attention isn’t immediately drawn to it. It needs to have both video and audio, and the ability to record continuously for 10 hours on a single charge. Police versions of the unit or too bulky and cumbersome for everyday civilian use. So what do you think? Can it be done?

I bet the how to video is just going to be wireless ssh into raspi then view the output of the camera on the PC, and maybe save the video or use some kind of trail cam software

Maybe the use of a epoxy resin would be better to simulate the coke, albeit a bit more difficult to source and certainly more expensive, I think it would provide a better and more permanent solution. Either way, I like the idea and will wait for the full video.

You don't have to have a 3D printer to get 3D printed parts...
And you could just be crazy and buy a 3d-printer (Yes, you're crazy if you do that, but it's a lot of fun! :-) ) I did for only $150,00, and it works great!

The only way to put out a video before April 1st is to post it in March. If you post an April Fools Day project on April 1st, it's too late.
So disappointing I been waited for ur next vid to come out. But it's only preview we gotta wait another week for the build...

but why don't u just skip the preview vid instead and just make the built vid like u used to
I'm only doing one project a month, which means that would basically be one video per month. Several people said they prefer it this way instead of having just one. I'll do a poll during my comments show and see what people prefer.
