The effect of watching this video is I understand the difference between affect and effect. On the other hand, It affects my knowledge.
what is the right pronunciation of the word 'effect', is it /ɪˈfekt/ or /əˈfekt/ , ə and ɪ are different in pronunciation, right? :D
both are ok, right? i am not sure,lol....
@@fubukisophicha8831 'effect' can be pronounced as either /ɪˈfekt/ or /əˈfekt/. /əˈfekt/ is more common in American English.
So how is it pronounced? 0:05 'Affect or 0:47 A'fecct?
Hi, in normal speech, 'affect' as a verb is usually stressed on the second syllable as at 0’47”. Phil’s pronunciation at the start of the video is slightly exaggerated to focus on the spelling difference.
*I HAVE READ SOMEWHERE THAT EFFECT IS THE FINAL OUTCOME WHEREAS AFFECT IS MINOR TASKS* *_Please clarify my doubts_* .thanks in advance❤❤
Hi, 'effect' as a noun can mean the final outcome of something, e.g. ‘The effect of this change was that everyone was happier’. The meaning of ‘affect’ does not relate to the size of a task.
@@bbclearningenglish *Thanks, I got it. Effect as a noun can mean the final outcome of something and affect as a verb is an impact or change*
I am from India I understand your words I don't understand English songs s can you tell me anything so that I can improve my listening skills
The effect of your choose was to have an argument with her. Your last decision affected seriously your relationship.
so what is a verb and what is a noun.....
A verb is an action, like 'eat', 'sleep', 'like', 'go'. A noun is a thing, like 'TV', 'coffee', 'Earth', 'girl'. 😊
No matter how many times people explain this to me, it never makes sense. 🙃
I thought that the verb effect is to influence in positive way and affect with negative impact?
Effect = result or to implement
Affect = influence
For the life of me I STILL have trouble telling the two apart.
Idk if maybe I have dyslexia or something but for some reason this is extremely hard to understand
The effect of sleep deprivation is you been got headache.
Your mindset affects your society.
I came from MeishMoe
Eyes not symmetric.
BBC mmm
He mispronounced the word, "implement"
Yes, 'implement' as a verb is usually pronounced with an /e/ rather than a /ə/ sound.
Still makes no sense.
so bad
